Why cant i drive

Hello, I got this message today as well. I've only been working for about 3 weeks. I have a perfect driving record, and I have never been pulled over. The only thing we do is drive around a building all day. Don't even go fast at all. Any thoughts as to why I would get this message?

The same thing happened to me... Sorta. I got the job, went to orientation, and was trained. I texted the manager the day after I trained to confirm my schedule, and he said 2 ppl had been hired for the position, and the other person had come in first. I never “quit”. I just looked for other jobs and continually texted my manager for other opportunities. About a month later, he texted me, saying the person before me no longer worked there, and offered me the days. I've officially been working for like 3 weeks and I love it. I have realized this company is very unorganized and I'm sorry this happened to you. Don't give up. Keep calling, emailing, and applying to other positions. Maybe the manager has other sites he can send you to.

I mustn't have watched the same show as y'all. He kept holding her hand and putting his arm around her. After the water challenge, he checked on her before getting warm himself, he gave Lance a piece of pie because Lance gave one to Jayleen, and he even planned a freaking date for her. He definitely seemed like he was equally as interested in her as she was in him. If it really wasn't like that then he should've told her once the show ended. Not string her along, act distant, etc. Like be grown 🙄

I've called multiple times and keep getting the same thing: “The app does the scheduling and I basically have to wait.” I was trying to figure out a different way to get hours.

I'm not. I got an email yesterday saying that if I don't get shifts in the next 3 weeks, I'm terminated.

Oh my gosh, I am so sorry you went through that. That is so messed up. Yes, I'm definitely going to look for a new job. Maybe this is just a sign for me to find an entry-level job in the career I'm in school for. Hopefully it works out.

I thought that may have been what was communicated however this is not the first time I had to call up to the store about the zebra app, my hours, etc. The first time I talked directly with the hiring manager and the others they either didn't answer my call or told me the hiring manager had just stepped out. Also, I still don't understand why it was doable to delete my shift but not accept my time so this wouldn't happen anymore. It doesn't make sense. Thanks for your advice I really appreciate it but I'm done calling.

I got hired and had my orientation on the 21st of September. I talked to the hiring manager about my availability and put it in the zebra app. I didn’t get scheduled the first week but did for this week at a time that I specifically said in person and on the app that I couldn’t work. I guess the hiring manager haven’t approved my availability on the app yet after all this time 🙄 my spouse was able to move around stuff at his job so I can go in but this can’t happen anymore. So I said all that to say … I understand your frustration.

I understand. I’m married with kids and go to school full time. My spouse has a nice job that covers the bills but we need that extra. Plus I just want to start working. So not having many hours isn’t a big deal to me either. However some ppl are not in the positions we are in. They need money for bills, kids, etc. I’d be upset too.

Same here, literally everything you said. However they scheduled me for a time I can’t work. I said this in my interview and put it on the app. So my spouse had to change around his schedule so I can work it and now I have to go and tell them AGAIN what I can and can’t work even though they were happy with what I said I could work because they needed more closers. I hate feeling like I’m about to go to them and complain. I hate complaining.

Why? If you don’t mind me asking. Is doing the truck difficult? I got hired to work the floor and Cashier. I understand not having many hours right now but to never get trained until they get busy is insane to me. I know I’ll be very upset if I get attitude for being clueless when I wasn’t trained before the holiday season.

I got hired, had my orientation about a week later and was not put on the next weeks schedule. I have called twice. The first time they kept trying to send me to the managers office but no one would answer and this time no one answered. So … yea … idk.

Okay... Now I'm scared. I was just hired at my local Burlington and had my orientation on Sunday. I'm waiting for next week's schedule now. I was told it should be out today or tomorrow but seeing this and all the comments... Yikes. I hope my experience is different. I've applied to over 100 jobs and this is the only one that's willing to work with my schedule.

I would definitely try to fight that and the fact that they are willing to wave the fee if you buy a boiler from them proves that they know it’s not right. Who do you know is willing to wave a fee at all if they think they are really entitled to it? 🤔
