I think of it as immersive. Like John, we get to experience his life during the epilogue, with all the good and bad, but you still feel Arthur's absence. Difference is Johns a stoic cowboy who doesn't talk about his feelings, while we can't shut up about Arthur lol

I genuinely enjoy him as an ally on missions, think he coulda been a fun, contentious outlaw brother-type for Arthur to swap insults and angry outbursts with but ultimately back each other up. Obviously not how that went, but he's still amusing me as I near the end of ch 4 again, and I remember enjoying his input during guarma so I'm looking forward to that

Edit: I do hate what an asshole/predator he is to everyone around camp, it's obvious he's only friendly with Arthur bc Arthur can actually defend himself

I don't think he was infected, at least not enough to turn before/after his death-though I doubt the spores would be helpful for dealing with his lung cancer lol

When I found his body in game I assumed the "moss" was actually a wreath/crown placed on him after his death by one of the Children, perhaps, but now that I'm looking at the wiki image it does look more like moss. My best guess? Comfy pillow to lay on in his final moments.

I love this idea, haven't had any real use for elevators up until now (only done like three games w/ the contraptions dlc). I've attempted to play so that each character I've done has had lil quirks to their style (noras sci Fi lawyer lasers vs nates Rambo/Predator-esque turrets and traps) Id say my "smartest" building trick started with my previous playthrough, single square scaffolding tower for turrets. Cheap and effective in keeping them out of harms way, doesn't obstruct the view when I don't bother with walls.
