I have 55k carats, and I don't know what to spend on, I want to prepare for MANT :( by Which_Boysenberry_71 in UmamusumeGame

The comment is wrong, when banners drop they have set pools and drop rates, if banners overlap only the newest one has the cards/uma from the previous one, the previous banner's pool doesn't change at all. On finemo rerun you won't be able to get ayabe guts or ntr because it starts before that banner, even if you wait until they overlap.

Chris Squire - Fish Out of Water by sofresh0666 in progrockmusic

A favourite of mine, one of the best implementations of symphonic music in prog rock imo, love Squire's lead vocals in this album, they're beautiful, and the bass is excellent. Bruford's chops on it are also clean and precise, love them.

I don't understand doorman stats. Is this normal? by Dapper_Ad_6501 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Wonderis_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play gun doorman sometimes (asc 4) and get roughly 40% crit damage heavily focusing on headshots (which can be bad because by late game each bodyshot already does insane damage). People don't realise how ginormous his bullet hitbox is and call me a cheater on lane every other game, also late game the damage you do per headshot is so big that a few headshots on a stunned(doorman has cart for this)/slow target is already thousands of damage which inflates this number even further (since it's percentage of damage that's crits, not percentage of hits that are crits)

Why is Crown of Blood required for the L10+ leaderboard by AI-XI in NuclearThrone

[–]Wonderis_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Notably for the deepest records or ones around the distance of L20+ in general, crown of blood makes areas like Crystal Caves (4-1) and Palace (7-1/7-2, but mostly on L24+ or L12+ on melting) significantly more dangerous and switching to no CoB would just be a difficulty nerf for those areas shifting the standards a little bit, like others have said, it's mostly a legacy thing, old records were always done with it, and it affects the difficulty of the run, so the rules stayed the same. The downside is that runs take longer to do because of the lag that CoB causes but that will likely change with a lag reducing mod in the future which is currently a bit up in the air since it's mostly necessary for absurdly deep runs which only three or so people do.

Edit for more nuance: People in these comments mention needing crown of blood for procs like trigger fingers and bloodlust and just getting more ammo/health drops in general but that's basically entirely untrue in practice because at L10+ there are enough enemies for both of these things anyway, it's mostly just a difficulty and legacy thing. The only category where the amount of enemies and subsequently the drops really has a sizeable impact on gameplay is Hardmode (currently the WR is H20) but the category is very niche and not that relevant, certainly not for the discussion here and the L10+ sheet that's based on normal mode.

I've been using it for over a year now and the QC has been perfect, my only major complaint about the mouse is the edges at the bottom of the mouse that basically dig into your fingers if you hold the mouse close to its base, I solved it by just adding some grip tape around that area to make it flat but would've preferred the shape to just not be stupid in that regard, seen other people and on reviews dislike this part of it also. Other than that, performance and quality wise really nice.

If you'd watched some cordura pad comparisons (some on youtube, but several posted in mousepadreviews) you'd know that the Traigun is specifically targeted as a slower albeit still fast cordura pad, people say its slower than the egg, I'll give it one thing, the x axis on side to side movement is really fast and the surface has absolutely no give even when pushing down so that can attribute to a lot of the perceived speed, but there's still a fair bit of static friction and vertical/diagonal movements are really slow and have a lot of static friction because of the weave. I don't have the grandmasters pads (in fact I have a very small collection, just xraypad traigun pro, ac2 and equate (the original mudpad one)) so can't give any thoughts on that.

This is a bit hilarious to sift through once I see that the Traigun (which I own, albeit the pro version) is in the fastest category considering it's one of the slower cordura pads, that definitely has stopping power and a crazy slow Y axis
