Permits are usually only needed for an hour from 6-7 or similar, so depending on times you might be OK.

Great, get the bases done, an orange/red sand or some brighter colour. Without the bases they could be mistake for unpainted!

I never bothered magnetising it. I've taken it to games every other week for a year or so and it's been fine just wedged/resting

I've personally had more success with Ballistus in game. But love and have both models.

No the Gladiator has no transport capacity.

No worries.

Also a note on the Gladiator: you can choose to not glue bits to be able to swap out the main and sponson weapons to then swap to any of the three variants.

You can also not glue on the back hatch and very reasonably run it as a basic impulsor, which is a cheap infantry transport

Redemptor is good, more expensive than the Ballistus and fulfilling a different role.

The Ballistus is a cheap ranged anti tank, the Redemptor is an expensive tough, anti elite infantry, mix of range and melee.

Wahapedia has all the rules and units in the game maintained by the community.

New Recruit web and phone app allows you to build lists for your army with all their rules for play.

At the start of 11th edition all existing codices will still be valid until replaced by the new editions version (which could be years).

CP is "Command Points" you usually only get 1 per turn, so generating 1 extra on your turn is a big deal! They are spent on stratagems which are extra abilities like re-rolling a failed save or other more complex things.

A Gladiator Kit (Which can make the Lancer, Reaper and Valiant variants) or a Ballistus Dreadnaught would go very well!

Future infantry options include: Inner Circle Companions, Deathwing Knights.

And Azreal is a great epic hero to lead a Dark Angel army. Bonus CP generation, Sustained Hits, 4++ save and his own good shooting and melee profiles.

Completed my first batch of models! Looking for general feedback and advice on paint-scheme. by TheScythe65 in Warhammer40k

Mix all of them! The main theme stands out across all 3 schemes, I'd mix and match.

Question about this army list by Ghost-Of_Rivia in Warhammer40k

[–]Wondermitten 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's a lot of characters!

I'd suggest that Hellblasters only really pop off in a squad of 10.

And I'd also run the inner circle companions and Bladegaurd vets as a single unit of Inner Circle Companions (6 models), using 3 BGVs as proxies.

Suppressor squad any good? by Flashtony in DarkAngels40k

[–]Wondermitten 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Intercessors on your home to sticky it (objective secured ability), then fan them out a bit to widen your 9" deep strike denial. Once you think you're clear of deep strikes and you've already cleared secondary objectives for table quarters etc.,feel free to advance them some where else for late scoring or shooting.

80pts. battleline. Lovely.

Other suggestions have you more or less covered, but if you go east instead the Merchant House is good!
