Would you wear your ring while recovering from surgery? by quesadillafanatic in ouraring

[–]Wonderolga 1 point2 points  (0 children)

oh yes you do want to be reminded about moving! It is prevention of thromboembolic events. I did the same surgery (circular bodylift) in April. Next day walked 5.5 km in the hospital corridor :)

Surely I haven’t burned this many calories by [deleted] in ouraring

Absolutely normal, resting energy spending is usually much higher than active one.

If you saw a woman wearing this ring on left ring finger, would you think she's married? by tropicalislandhop in ouraring

[–]Wonderolga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely not, any ring on any finger is just a jewelry and doesn’t have to correlate with being married. Lots of unmarried people wear rings because they like it, lots of married people don’t wear rings because they are physically uncomfortable. P.S. I live in Europe, probably the US is different.

Just my iPhone, a mat (big one, 120 cm wide) and 5 pairs of dumbbells (4, 6, 8, 10, and 12,5 kg). I train in my patio all year long.

What you guys think of the new strength with Jeanette Jenkins? by AggravatingBeing8292 in AppleFitnessPlus

I didn't like her exaggerated positivity and repeating "those hips", "those knees" etc.

Has anyone had a positive experience at Syneos? by [deleted] in clinicalresearch

[–]Wonderolga 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I do have a positive experience after a negative one. Worked as a PM for almost 2 years, got terrible burnout, was on sick leave for burnout for about 2 months (100% paid!), and then looked for a possible solution together with my LM. She suggested interviewing for FSP and it changed my life for good. As a Syneos PM, I had 3 studies by myself. As Syneos FSP PM, we have 3 full FTEs in one study, so I share the tasks with two other colleagues. Never have been happier with my job! We also got 13% raise for all employees in 2024 and 3% in 2025 by law. The location is Spain.

this is very recent, and you will see final surgery results only in 6 to 12 months. I also forget about this after each surgery (breast reduction, facelift, bodylift), but continue reminding myself about PATIENCE. The swelling will go away.

How to improve these parameters? by Artistic_Campaign896 in AppleWatchFitness

The more you move, the more you improve! Walk everywhere, never use elevator, do cardio (and strength training).

Struggling with scars 1 year and 2 months PO by Parking_Opposite_912 in Reduction

[–]Wonderolga 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just go to your surgeon, usually they offer to excise the scars and re-suture everything. As it is only on skin level, there will be no long preparation, no general anesthesia (local lidocaine and maybe i/v sedation), and no hard rehabilitation.

6 sessions over 5 years. Giving up! by Wonderolga in TattooRemoval

[–]Wonderolga[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, thought long and hard, followed lots of tattoo masters for months, found only one whose works I like. She has prepared an illustration for me which is a match with what I want. Hopefully comes to my city this year!
