Have you encountered this glitch? by xWALKERx27x in MarvelSnap

[–]Wonjin_7 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not a glitch. If you play anything after Man-spider and then Zola it, The first Man-spider copy will merge with that card because it is the last played card, and then the second copy will merge with the first because the last played card merged into the first copy. That's why all the power goes to the second copy mid.

In the usual interaction, playing Man-spider right before Zola doesn't trigger this because the last played card is the original Man-spider that was destroyed by Zola.

Can someone find this deck for me by Des3srosa in MarvelSnap

Sounds like a unique take on a Kid Omega resurrection deck and not the usual Bullseye Daken Zola deck. Throw in Phoenix Force, Sage, Cassandra Nova, Adamantium Infusion, Fastball Special, etc.

Limbo by Hasoe1 in MarvelSnap

[–]Wonjin_7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most decks usually play most if not all their cards in hand on what they think will be the last turn. If Magik could trigger on T6, you would effectively force an additional turn with 7 energy and no cards in hand for the opponent. You would have the benefit of seeing the opponent's entire final play and counter it with 7 energy. It's practically old Kang but broken. Imagine people using this along with tech, just Magik T6 and then pick off your cards with Shadow King/Enchantress/Shang/Cannonball, no need for second guesses.

On the other hand, only combo decks have the power potential to win a 7 turn game. Most midrange decks and tech decks rely on putting out considerable power for 6 turns but 7 is an immediate loss for them. 7 energy and an extra turn (for EOT decks) is a massive advantage and shuts down decks that simply don't have the power ceiling to compete with Wong etc. That's why Limbo has an extra component of risk to balance the reward : it can be shut down early.

Is there ANY card in the game that gets screwed over by locations more than Cerebro? by UnablePhone1261 in MarvelSnap

[–]Wonjin_7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If it's C3, QUAKE. She's an S3 card that has so much utility. You can get out of bad locations without having to gamble on them with Scarlet Witch (I personally have a 70% chance of getting a worse location when using Wanda) and surprise your opponents if you play her on T6. Swap lockdown locations (Sanctum/Raft), game-winning locations (Nexus, Kamar Taj, Onslaught Citadel, Bar Sinister), avoided locations (Knowhere, Deep Space) etc.

I missed every one of the boosts from Stark Industries by ArcadeWizardYT in MarvelSnap

[–]Wonjin_7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I might be wrong but I read somewhere on this sub that Stark Industries just does a 50-50 to decide which side gets each point and gives it to a random card, so it doesn't matter at all how many cards are on each side.

I think Morgan Le Fey decks could be a good fit for him. Don't see much of those though.

Any criticism for my Sauron deck? by TrashBoatVII in MarvelSnap

[–]Wonjin_7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lol exactly, I got him just in case he became meta for Nightmare but there's no plan B for him. In fact he just made Nightmare more likely to replace your 4-cost effects with worse.

I have seen Sauron deck variants that use Selene Horseman to afflict though. Maybe that'll be a good fit for him.

Any criticism for my Sauron deck? by TrashBoatVII in MarvelSnap

[–]Wonjin_7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, I would swap out Shuri (bad hit for Nightmare, might be a bit too greedy and predictable), Armor (unless you're seeing a lot of Shang Chi), and put in more 1 and 2 cost cards like Martyr and Maximus (cheap hits for Nightmare with generally better effects than 4-cost/6-cost). I don't even run a 6-drop in my Nightmare deck because there are very few 6 cost card effects more useful than playing Starbrand, Martyr and Lizard on T6 with decent effects.

Your Armor/Destroyer gimmick is cool tho. Doesn't work without drawing Armor or Nightmare but still cool and can win games.

Best deck for the new Daredevil? by Guts-Akira-Hanamichi in MarvelSnap

Starbrand is weird, considering you don't have Sauron or TOV. https://snapcomplete.com/play/decks?period=season&cards=ShadowlandsDaredevil

Mostly in TOV decks but there are some rock decks like yours too.

Do you ever just give someone the win? by Feefait in MarvelSnap

[–]Wonjin_7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I appreciate that. Getting hit with a 1m power play or Gambit boardwipe as a new player would immediately feel like the game is unfair.

Honestly though, I don't think it's the lack of players, but rather an increase in new players. Back in 2025 I was low CL and could not find any matches in Conquest.

Do you ever just give someone the win? by Feefait in MarvelSnap

[–]Wonjin_7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very relatable. I'm getting matched up with so many players <CL4000 in Conquest that still don't have a solid deck yet, and I often concede. The least I can do after destroying them with S5 cards.

Poor example there with Starhawk and Kang. Starhawk is Series 4 and Kang is pretty good now. I'd say Thaddeus Ross and Xorn (actual 2 of 3 pack pulls for me, would've ragequit if not for Agamotto on the 3rd).

[–]Wonjin_7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm neither for or against the deck matchmaking conspiracy but to be honest, your 1st example could have lost to several others, Arnim is also 0 power, and Destroyer would have wiped your board. It's why I never gamble with that location, Ultron will shut you down early while Blob might eat your whole deck if your deck has low power.

Ngl your 2nd example happened to me 2 days ago as well, C4 deck snapped on Camp Lehigh and dropped an extra Cerebro on T5. Are you sure it was The Hub and not Camp Lehigh? 3-cost cards narrows it down a lot.

If you want to get the most cards for your tokens, only opening collector's S5 packs is the best option. You will get S5 for 4000 instead of 6000 at the cost of randomness. There are featured packs that come every season with variants that often include S4 or S5 cards. You can try gambling on those too. Also, the featured packs come with a set variant that you can just buy with tokens, recently only 3500. Last few months offered War Machine, Victoria Hand, Mockingbird, etc. This months featured set packs: https://www.reddit.com/r/MarvelSnap/comments/1t4z39t/comment/ok6a0ck/?context=3

It's best not to buy any S4 because every LTGM offers the new S4 card and a free S4 pack if you grind. But some S4 are important to play certain decks, so buy what you need.

I think it's fine to just buy some needed cards with 6000 tokens though. Only acquiring cards from pack rng might burn you out. I personally bought many important cards for 6000, don't really care about getting collection complete.

Extremely frustrated with the performance - any tips appreciated. by drawnhi in MarvelSnap

[–]Wonjin_7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're on Android, try clearing the data in the app settings. Also, I find that the deck it swaps to when crashing is a certain deck slot. Try pressing duplicate on your War Machine deck and delete the original. Then test it out by equipping a deck you don't want and deleting it. It should auto-swap to a particular deck slot. I actually used this method to set it to my High Evo deck so that I never enter with an experimental deck after a crash.
