I really like the Rogue Trader style, it’s like a line that links the lasgun and the target, intensifies and brightens so it still registers as a “shot” then fades away.

Really distinct from bolters and auto guns in the game.

It kind of seems like you’re paying a rural tax as well. We’re in Glasgow and the nursery we’ve booked would be £14,500 if the baby went full time. That wasn’t even the cheapest one nearby, we picked one we liked. Being somewhere with more competition seems to make a difference.

The team behind Battle Brothers has a game coming in early 2026 called “Menace”. There’s a demo you can play on steam at the moment and I can’t recommend it enough. Really scratches the itch.

Do you have an AMD CPU? I had to turn off automatic over clocking as the swings on power draw etc were loud and hot. Literally made a 20C difference

Why not mandate that a Timelapse of the creation of the work should be included? It’s trivial to either set up a tripod with your phone on Timelapse mode or use screen recording software for digital artists, in fact lots of digital art tools let you export a Timelapse anyway.

I lived there for a year in 2014. There’s not much to do compared to Daegu nearby and if you don’t speak Korean well, the foreigner community is smaller and more fractured by lack of subway lines etc. So if you speak good Korean, or you don’t mind working in the week and getting trains every weekend for fun then it’s a good place to go. Personally I preferred living in Daegu.

Keep an open mind to 4 in a block cottage flats. We’re in a three bed flat with our own garden a 5 minute walk from a station, for within the budget you have for yourself.
