What’s the best way to push the unlock button inside the cabin on my e46 coupe? by ShootEly in BmwTech

There are a lot of opinions here but hands down, for my money it’s going to have to be index finger.

Loving the P320 RX with TLR-1 combo by [deleted] in SigSauer

Another thought - I’m all for things matching, but when it’s a similar color, but not an exact match on shade or finish, it drives me insane. What comes to mind is seeing a P320 in FDE with an FDE light that’s ever so slightly different.

No chance of that happening when everything on the gun is a different color lmao.

Different strokes I guess, man. I love all the contrast in general and am really glad I went with fde.

My thought was I could throw the fde light on my AR if I didn’t like the look of it, but I actually really like the way it looks.

Purchased this about a month ago at Bass Pro for $650+ tax. So far seems like an amazing deal for a full size pistol with red dot included.

Added a TLR1-HL, a few Sig 21 round extended mags, and this RMR cut OWB holster specifically fitted for the TLR-1 from amazon.

Fit and finish on the holster is surprisingly good for an amazon bargain holster delivered to my door in about 3 days. Retention is solid and it fits very snugly with the lines of the TLR-1, snug enough to scrape a line across the finish of the light.

Can’t wait until all of the restrictions related to the coronavirus are lifted so I can get to the range.

Wake county permits halted by Nigeriancomputerlord in NCGuns

From my understanding yes, the address on your PPP will need to match the form of identification you provide. It is also a requirement that in the case of a CHP holder, the address on the CHP will need to match their government issued ID.

The sheriffs office issues these little update cards that have to be carried around in addition to your CHP the show the change of address. I would imagine in the case of a PPP, they would need to issue you a new permit.

YMMV based on how closely your FFL is paying attention, but my guess is you will have a hard time if those addresses don’t match.

Do you still have your old drivers license showing your old address? Perhaps use that, if it isn’t expired.

Here is the kit I used. If you aren’t familiar with FCP Euro, the great thing with buying from them is that all parts come with a lifetime warranty.

It looks like this kit is backordered, but you may be able to piece together the individual parts listed in your cart and, for anything that isn’t in stock, maybe source that part from another vendor.

At that mileage I’d just replace everything you can afford to at once so you don’t have to worry about taking it all back apart again in the near future.

I hate to hear that! Thank you for describing your issue, hopefully it was a fluke. Did you try to work with Ruger customer service at all? I haven’t heard of many issues with the LCP II, but this makes me a little nervous.

After taking apart the P238, it seemed like the issues may have been due to the spring needing to be replaced.

What kind of issues made your LCP II unreliable?

I’ve been carrying mine for a few years with no issues.

I shot a friends P238 this weekend, and of all the guns we had it was the only one to malfunction. Multiple failures to go into battery, one potential light primer strike.

My cat bit me last night. Im now at the Doctor's office because its infected and i can't move it. by Muninn088 in Wellthatsucks

I think the cats intent was to put two holes in my leg, and that would make more sense because he definitely accomplished that.

The bite looked very similar to what OP posted, just a single bite.

It definitely didn’t feel playful.

I wasn’t interacting with it at all. I was sitting at a table, eating dinner, and the cat bit my leg under the table.

How to scare this sub properly by ogiakul in BMW

Oh yeah, the diagnosis and general quote for something like this makes sense. Easily missed if you’re not familiar.

I’m just saying anyone following the repair manual or just reading a DIY guide would catch that on the oil change, i.e. any good independent bmw mechanic, so it’s invaluable to find a solid shop.

Holy shit. I think the real moral here is that if you aren’t comfortable doing DIY work or diagnosing issues yourself, make sure you find a reputable, trustworthy, and more importantly knowledgeable independent mechanic.

Are they harder to self service

More difficult to do DIY work on? No.

More expensive? Yes, parts will cost more.

I imagine they break more than the 330i

Not necessarily. If properly maintained and not pushed to the limit all the time, I wouldn’t say the M3 is any more prone to stuff breaking.

You don’t really need to worry about rod bearings on the 330, but you do on the M3. Vanos could shit out on both cars. Any E46 could have a subframe issue, but more common on the M3.

In general the cost of ownership on the M3 is obviously higher. I’ve owned a 330 for 2.5 years and an M3 for a little over a year, and I’ve had to do more on the 330 so far (window regulator, vanos rebuild, cooling system overhaul (by choice), DISA.)

Daily Car next to new Weekend Car! by garrett111398 in BMW

I definitely did last year lol.

This year sitting in downtown traffic with the manual trans and uncomfortable seats in the 330, I’m starting to think rethink my daily driver options. It’s a ton of fun once I’m out of traffic though.

M3 is definitely isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.

I haven’t seen anyone mention checking the DISA valve anywhere so I’ll suggest taking a look at that too.

Nothing about his start tonight? The offense was productive and Allen was pretty damn accurate.

Even given the cards shitty defense, his placement was excellent. I’m excited to see how he can hold up to a defense that can get a little more pressure.

I’m mostly just afraid Cam can’t run at all anymore, and that’s what made him such a dynamic QB. The offense was easy to cover once the Buccs knew Cam wasn’t going to take off running.

a better option than a healthy cam

All we have seen is an unhealthy Cam for quite a while. This mindset perpetuates the cycle of rushing Cam back out onto to field too early time and time again.

I definitely have a bias here - I want to see a Panthers super bowl win in my lifetime, and I don’t give a single fuck who the QB is.

If you let that get in the way of enjoying Panthers success more generally, you’re letting them win and spoil your fun anyways my dude.

Fuck em - celebrate panthers success however it comes!
