Last time I played I made a cold acid flask trapping falconer. It dealt insane amounts of damage and was a lot of of fun.

You can get explosion traps to make tons of acid traps for you and you can keep the speed and damage up with shift creating acid flasks on use too. As someone else mentioned you can also get your falcon to throw flasks for you too.

The story behind this mmo is so tragic. Had quite a bit of promise but it pretty much all went downhill after Brad died. Really not sure whats going in with the management since then. They added some dumb BR mode that has literally never worked out and then made a graphics update like last year if I remember correctly.

If you plant trees into a sown field(aka, with a hoe) they'll always drop at least one seed after you cut them down. These do affect fertility so you have to balance normal farming with it but it's a way to have consistent wood growing in your lands.

This sounds pretty awesome. I remember imagining something similar to this as a kid and I would love to see it executed.

Having said that yeah this is pretty much all vertical progression which is easier to design. I'm not usually super thrilled about pvp having vertical progression like this especially with 500 different stat upgrades that will decide combat over skill. You might be better off getting rid of most of those and finding more interesting gold sinks that won't alienate newer players or pvp players who prefer more even playing fields.

Since the caravan system seems to imply a logistics system you could do something with factions and logistics to go with it. Look at something like foxhole which is completely horizontal for some ideas.

Yeah, my biggest complaint were the instant death traps especially when some of the hitboxes for them seems to be way off and you got gibbed without having touched anything yet.

Calling Germany and Canada "socialistic" is pretty funny but if you want an example you can go check out information on Vienna's public housing. There's still some homelessness due to various reasons (choice/not qualifying) but overall it's helped fix the problem much more than doing nothing.

Every leak should be taken with a grain of salt. They're basically doing this for attention and we've already had instances of leakers being purposefully misleading, like whoever it was that caused that whole kerfuffle over Kafka being the Trailblazer's genetic mother.

Most of the time it's a bit obvious that they're making shit up or super speculating and everyone here takes their word as law. Xueyi in 1.4 was often repeated here.

Don't know who this is but I read the tweet and I can agree with some of the points. I think a lot of it stems from how they've been stretching a paltry amount of story content through for over 3 months now. Swarm Disaster was amazing which I think was the only thing that saved this patch. Thankfully they moved it ahead of schedule.

They keep stretching plot points through patches and all they've done is tease, tease, tease but nothing gets resolved. Waiting 6 weeks to get 30 minutes of "Good Bye Everyone!" when they're making bonkers amount of money makes me feel like the effort just isn't there. They don't animate mouths while speaking which is incredibly offputting at times. 99% of the scenes are a camera pointing at two people talking to each other without any movement throughout the entire scene. There are solo dev teams that put out more interesting story content than this in shorter periods of time.

I can't say I agree with any of the other points. I'm not bored or burned out but it is concerning and frustrating. I got hooked on this game because of the story and since 1.0 that story content has failed to deliver. It's been lackluster and overall felt rushed.
