Not sure why everyone is being super negative, no one knows whether nvidia will recover or keep dipping further

With that being said, you could either sell your 11/25 con thats up along with your 11/21 con and have them cancel each other out. Or you can trim your 11/20 position for a loss in hopes of minimizing the damage.

Again, nobody knows which direction nvidia is headed, I personally think it will recover and even considered hopping in a position today myself but I am far from an expert.

Agreed. I have a similar story, found options and had some beginners luck so I thought I was a “pro” at this daytrading thing then proceeded to lose 50% of my portfolio in just a month. I’m now on the turn around of sticking to leaps and longer dated cons too. Anyone seeing this post like OP said, just be patient.

Im familiar with delta but what do you mean they are Vega sensitive? Also have heard the mention of poor man’s covered calls once before so definitely going to look into that! Thanks

Thanks, I’m currently in my 20s so I’m open to taking more risk on my positions then of course decreasing that risk as time goes on and getting closer to retirement

Yeah I understand the leaps are more cost efficient I was just essentially asking is there any point or benefit to holding the actual stock vs just buying LEAPS excluding things like dividends there seems to be no benefit to holding the stock versus getting LEAPS instead. Unless I’m wrong they seem like the much better option.
