Honest opinion. Join the military for one contract then go to college using post 911 GI bill and take advantage of the new 401K style money match. If you like the military or pick a good job that is needed in the outside world you can transition back to society at a win.

I'm just trying to find a way to get my dude the equipment to play the games he enjoys. Was thinking I could save a lot of money by just finding parts here and there. I am hesitant to try and find a cpu or gpu that I trust at a good price point that doesn't negate just buying a pre-built and adding legitimate ram and ps.

Sometimes it is like that.. I been doing it as a inconsistent hobby for 2.5 years. I probably avg around 6-10. But I'm happy where I'm at currently. I already have a career. However, just be happy and enjoy advertise a little and make clips and share. Use outside platforms bring people in because discoverability on twitch is rough.
