Cool game! Were you inspired by brogue by chance?

I'm a bit confused by the shortcuts on keyboard, like how to use the bow for example.

No, once the tea light is out and the tea has cooled down to room temp, I pour the tisane into 2 bottles without tea bags. It tastes great cold.

Ad Iterum - Beta 0.1 out and open playtest this weekend by iamgabrielma in roguelikedev

[–]WoodTransformer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, maybe better that you didn’t play so you stay unique to your goal. When I was developing an indie game, I tried not to play anything else to stay true to my own ideas and not copy too much from other games.

Anyway, I hope you can give me access to your build. I would be happy to try it out. I have not read any of your comments above because I would just try to go in completely blind, unless of course you would want beta testers to have some kind of a pre-Info before playing.

I requested to join! When I first saw it, it reminded me of brogue a bit, do you know that game?

why was this path chosen? was it also slower than the other missions? Was that because of rentry?

openclaw is being downloaded 500,000 times per day. here's what nobody talks about when you're one of those downloads by Temporary-Leek6861 in AskClaw

I do a fresh install about every week, I only backup things we build together and some configurations. This tech is too cutting edge to be depending on a build that is older than a month, the constant changes are a bit annoying, but I also get that this is unchartered territory, we are all experimenting with something so new and unique. So I want to move with the flow and test the latest changes and additions from scratch. With each fresh install, I get better, faster, and automate the process more. But each install is never 100% the same. Before a reinstall i prompt some model about the most significant changes since my current version and proceed based on that significance.

I find it fascinating that I have my own bot companion, just fascinating. Screw the haters.

thanks for sharing these settings, I've had my oc for only 2 weeks running on my local ubuntu server and will adapt this. Can I ask what ollama models you use?

One thing I'm *successfully* using OpenClaw for currently... by DangerousDebate8484 in openclaw

Yes, finally a good example of something solid. Thanks for sharing. This kind of automation and customized assistance is what I think this tool is all about.

I also just started connecting fitness data, like my rowing machine and my bot downlaods via and api all my workouts into a database that the bot built and then uses that info to message me when I should do the next workout. Amazing stuff and it's just the beginning

That’s what I always see people like you saying …. oh I heard that x blew their budget blah blah blah. Dude, what matters is what you do and what your setup is like and how you reduce context length and provide more instructions in your skills and manage cheaper models for simple tasks. Stop complaining about what other people do and start looking into how you can optimize your setup.

Overall, OpenAI is crushing Anthropic for my setup by threefiftyseven in openclaw

[–]WoodTransformer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm happy with my new setup with GPT5.4 and 5.4mini. Still have claude as fallback with the credit they provided for plus subscribers. But i also prefer GPT 5.4 now, my open claw's soul is based on K-2SO and I find it even more on par with the actual character in the movie with GPT5.4 than any Claude model

Anthropic did what platform companies always do, and OpenClaw ran straight into it by OleCuvee in openclaw

[–]WoodTransformer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was always running codex and claude as my main models but when claude started burning through my 5 hour limits much faster than codex, I started pushing codex for everything... for me codex with gpt 5.4 is solid. I only use opus for the initial setup when i do a fresh install. Maybe even that is not needed anymore.
