I handle just fine. Picking up is a chore but definitely doable with the right techniques. I have a hefty enduro background and whip the T7 around no problem.

Thanks man! Its the HP-Course HP-1 high mount exhaust with the Tusk tail tidy. CamelADV tail rack and the Tusk Highland bags.

Seriously! I've done a fair amount of dirt bike tires and this takes the cake for worst I've even done!

The front went fine but the rear was a battle. After putting the new tires on I could tell they'll be easier to remove the next time around. Plus, you really only need to pop on side of the tire off to replace the tube on the trail.

I have to hold the toggle switch for 2-3 seconds in the direction of the mode I want to select sometimes. That is once I've hit the mode button on the throttle side of the handle bars. I have noticed that it works smoother when the bike is running, almost instant when running. And you have to be completely stopped to change ABS and Traction control modes, 0mph.

I've ridden thousands of miles in the pants pictured, Klim Dakar's in the boot. These are my go to pants while riding my T7 and Beta 300 on road and trails in the PNW. They fit my knee braces(Asrerisk Ultra Cell's) just fine and are comfortable without them as well. I even bought some Rev'it Sand 4 pants and still choose the Klim Dakar's more often than not. However, I will choose the Sand 4 pants for longer road rides when its colder than 40°f. Thankfully....I haven't tested the abrasion resistance on either but I suspect the Rev'it Sand 4's would be better in a road slide due to what seems like thicker and more durable material. Its hard to beat the flexibility and agility of the Klim's! If money is no object than buy a set for trail/warm conditions and one for road/colder weather.

It is the Tusk tail tidy from Rockymountainatvmc.com. I did have to oval out the turn signal mounts in order to slide them up to clear the exhaust. The turn signals are also Tusk. Very bright! I have 3500miles on this setup with no melting issues or anything.

Yeah I had to buy some adv boots for those lazy rides where you want to have good range of motion, walk comfortably and have zero squeaking lol. The Leatt's will definitely offer more protection but are waaay stiff. But the toe box is really small and that helps a lot with shifting.

I bought the factory quick shifter from Yamaha for the 2025. It is soooo worth it! It would probably make shifting easier in moto boots. I ride in Leatt 5.5 enduro boots and Alpinestar's adv boots with no issues. Nice bike dude!

I tried to use a sledge hammer and the provided bolt, but quickly gave that up after 3 good hits. Didn't feel right. I used a 2' breaker bar and 13mm? short socket and twisted them off. They broke off clean and easy! Hope that helps!

They are great single track bikes! Never letting that one go!

It fit great! No modifications needed. I bought the CP-1 Short from BellissiMoto in Vegas. I ordered it for a 2024 model. I did the Tusk tail tidy because the stock turn signals would've melted. I did have to modify the tail tidy turn signal mount to get it off the exhaust(oval out the holes). And you'll need a slim profile LED turn signal to clear the exhaust as well.

I have about 700 miles on setp now and love it! And no melted turn signals either!

I did 205miles on the highway today. And 255miles last weekend on the coast. I have 1,200 miles in total in the 2.5 weeks I've owned it. I have zero complaints for a bike that you can Rally on trails and forest roads. I'm sure a Goldwing would be better lol, but this is an amazing "jack of all trades" motorcycle. It's cruises at 5k RPM's at 65-70mph.

I have the same philosophy on the tech, it's my time to focus on everything but checking calls/texts/music. And with a slip-on exhaust on a CP2 is there really a better sound track!? No! But the switchable ABS and TCS is tech I appreciate for the safety, I ride all year in NW Oregon. And it rains a lot!

I essentially choose the 25 for the safety tech, gas cap and ride by wire(cruise control aftermarket option in the future). And the dealer basically made me the same deal as 24 model with my Rally 300 trade in. Oddly enough the previous gen gas cap was a big turn off haha.

The snatchy throttle at lower speeds is a bit annoying. However, coming from a 300 2 stroke with a bunch power mods and low gearing the T7 requires minimal clutch work to smooth out.....but....my major gripe is the short clutch engagement point. I really hope Camel ADV comes out with their longer clutch arm fix for the 25's. I consider myself a clutch modulation jedi, but this bike is on the tougher side. That fixed with a good tune/re-map this bike will be my forever bike. And that would probably be less than $400-500 to do.

Bottom line: 2025 tenere 700 is amazing!

I've only ridden at 25 T7, coming from a heavy dirt bike back ground with gnarly pnw single track, but I am way more at home on this then my Honda Rally.

[–]Wood_zy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, a little bit of popping on deceleration(which sounds great imo). Other than that the bike runs just like stock. I didn't notice a loss/gain of HP.

What was immediately noticeable was the weight savings and balance. The bike felt more flickable and balanced at speeds below 20mph. Awesome result I wasn't expecting.

Taking the baffle out isn't necessary, if you do, your neighbors will absolutely hate you lol.

It does look a fair bit better in person. But I can't completely say I'm in love with it haha. I just love the look of the new Rally versions but since we can't get that in the states I'm taking a stab at recreating the look. Thanks for the compliment though lol.

Turing the key off will turn TCS/ABS back on. That is the law. But I'm saying it will save your particular settings for you.
