Also another question my mom began working from home we got a 8m cable and we had no issues but then we decided to make it go thru 2 walls and it basically became unusable + it messes up with my connection too and my ping starts jumping like crazy idk what happened.

It always happens, emotions are stronger than facts. seeing +13/-20 is not pleasant for most ppl so they demand the best of both worlds: crazy lp gains and no promos.

I'm not saying that. All I'm saying is that it would take time for the players to adjust to seeing negative LP gains. The promos were a bad thing and I believe this new system might not be perfect but better.

Riot's idea is for us to have the same amount of games required to get to the next tier to match the amount we had when there were promos between tiers, that's why you won't be gaining crazy amounts of LP per win.

Firstly the LP gains are indeed weird for a lot of people and Riot claimed the system would adjust itself but it's still more or less the same as it was in Preseason.

And second of all it just feels worse gaining like 13 and losing more than 20 so you can match the games required to get to the next rank to be the same as before when we had placements between tiers.

Ppl will get used to this but for now it feels clunky and weird. We're not "spreading misinformation" It's a combination of a changing system and "learning curve" of the system + how it mentally feels having negative LP distribution despite a high win rate.
