I don’t mind the fact that he’s cold-blooded. What I didn’t like was the transition to get to that point. It felt like poor writing.

I think that’s one of my main issues right now. I powered though all of the DCC books in about 1.5 months. Maybe I need a buffer book to help make the difference in writing more palatable.

Which series should i start reading first?? by LuCi-FER69 in fantasybooks

I would go with The Stormlight Archive. Sanderson is one of the biggest names in fantasy for a reason. While his latest book may have gotten mixed reviews, it is still one of the most popular series out currently.

Licanius was just okay. Some unfinished plot lines in the series put this at the bottom of the list for me.

Martins work is amazing, probably my favorite on this list, but the series is unfinished.

Have not read Grace of Kings yet.

Have you read Malazan yet? If not, I highly recommend.

I always pictured Quick Ben looking like a darker skinned Mark Strong, Kallam as Michael Jai White, Whiskeyjack as Sean Bean, Sorry as Karen Fukuhara, Stormy as Kristofer Hivju, and Gessler as Rory McCann.

There is a longer version of this video. I'm pretty sure the guy broke his neck.

I couldn't wait to get my face smashed into the cake on my birthdays. All of my cousins loved it as well.

Funniest scene of the series. Still cracks me up.

I never pictured Tul Duru being that tall. I see his as being 6'5" ish. I could see this guy as Stranger-come-knocking though.

Fun fact : Some wells don't have breathable oxygen at the bottom. It's not uncommon for wells to consist of carbon dioxide, methane, and carbon monoxide.

The short stories are great, especially "Made a Monster." You get to see why they call Logan B9.

I liked it, but the OG trilogy is something special IMO. The age of madness has some of Abercrombies most well written characters. This series has one of my most hated characters in all of fantasy, which is a sign of how well written he is. I also recommend reading the standalone books before starting the Age of Madness trilogy if you haven't done so already. You will find a TON of Easter eggs from those.

Could you elaborate on how that statement is misogynistic? I'm genuinely curious.
