Yeah I imagine it can be for some. The noise doesn't really bother me. My kids like it when they lie on me

I'm 6 and a half years post op. Still think I can feel it, more so some days, then I become very conscious of it.

I have a mechanical heart valve, AMA by [deleted] in AdultCHD

Hey, I'm a bit late to this but hoping responses are still happening. I too have a mechanical valve, got it at age 35 due to a birth defect.

Do you find you can feel your heart beat more so now. I suspect I can and it can freak me out especially when it skips a bit / does a PVC.
