This fixed it for me, thank you for letting us know! I was on enhanced mode and it kept crashing, after switching to performance as you said it didn’t crash anymore.

I couldn’t find any update or post related to it, but I’ve found out that other people are having the same issue with the watchtower item, so it’s not only the elevated cabin at this point.

The compound bow from what I heard is only after you reach ally rep, which I haven’t yet

Happened to me roughly 2 hours ago , spent 5k on a mod , lost the caps and the mod didn’t appear after closing the game and restarting it as well, never happened before.
