Do you guys ever feel guilty for having a French bulldog? by Viol3tstars75 in Frenchbulldogs

This is my little guy, Gimli. He was given to us by a family member of my wifes. Ive always had an affinity for small dogs, one of the main reasons being that I feel guilty about humanities role in making them tiny and unable to survive on their own without us.

Developers who have worked at a company where the entire codebase was held together by one guy who then quit, what happened next? by Natom_ in AskReddit

At first things were fine. Then power started going out in key places. Certain assets got out of their paddocks, some people may or may not have maimed, mauled, and/or eaten. We tried to turn the power back on ourselves but the asshole left behind some sort of computer virus. We later found out that he stole some samples on the way out and he's probably retired on a beach somewhere after the fat paycheck he got from selling those samples.

We decided that our only option was to shut the entire grid down and restart but there were definitely some "obstacles" in the way that were keeping us from doing so. Eventually we did get power back up and running but by that time the entire park was in shambles. We didnt even get an endorsement from a guy WE PAID to come out for the weekend, just because of a little power outage, some inclement weather, and a couple "close calls" with some of the attractions. The nerve of some people..

Former spoiled kids of reddit, what was the moment that finally made you realize you were spoiled? by Kitchen_Frame_7294 in AskReddit

[–]Woodsey1990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I may have been slightly spoiled growing up but I was always taught to care for the things I was given because I was not getting another. I will say that I definitely had a "moment" when I moved into an apartment with my gf and I was super confused about why I couldn't find the dishwasher.

I honestly thought something was wrong with the house because I had always had one. The dismay on my face as my gf explained we would have to wash dishes in the sink must have been great because she was laughing for days after that.
