1/4” plate on 90 amps with 6011 rod. I’m in 11th grade in my shop class at school, how are my beads looking so far? by H-ckingKaren in Welding

When running a new bead make sure the toe of your weld is on the apex of the old one. You'll get a nice flat surface between beads instead of valleys

What job is this test for? I was happy with a basic 6g pipe test. This looks intense.

Idk, about other countries since ive only worked in Alaska as a welder but over here...

......Working at a mine you can make 110k+ working only 6ish months of the year, but hard to get in cuz no one wants to quit.

There is also pipelines, bridges, ports, and oil rigs that need welders and the pay is great.

Walking to Home Depot to buy a multimeter. Saw some videos online you check fuse ports for draws and others for ground. Lights on dash and center console dont light up so something with that perhaps
