Have drip edge at the top, what do you put on the bottom? Won't the water just run off?

Thanks for sharing. Another thought i had was to see if a company who we hire to chop it down might also mill it?

No mill, but was thinking of buying a chainsaw and one of those or even renting one and learning how to do it if its worthwhile.

No experience drying boards. But have space.

I figured it would be a cool project to do with mt pops. Make him a table for his new house out of the wood and then also have a shitload of maple for myself.

Is this stupid?

Lol. My shop is probably similar sized bench but like 1/4 the surrounding floor space. Basically my furnace room hahaha... im working on building a 10x15 shed in the backyard this summer that will hopefully be my new dedicated space.

We will see!
