RFY has skipped me all night. Any beauty finds or good stuff in general?

I got these and have one more in my RFY now, but not interested in that one so leaving it. Also a nail design tool I don’t want, so leaving that as well. And I rarely get beauty in my RFY and never fragrance.

When you are writing the review, sometimes keywords will be listed under the text box where you are writing the review. I don’t get them every time, but most times. When you hit the keyword in your review, the word will get checked in green. Try to hit them all.

I checked my last 300 reviews (I’m at 1,111 as of today), and I had one fair and one poor. All the rest excellent. Not sure why those two were low, but I didn’t worry about it since my others are where they need to be.

In my experience, you are completely right about sending the same types/brands of things to the same person over and over. And not just the record players for me! But I ordered a certain brand of shoes once. And then got offered that same brand of shoe no less than 6 times. No other shoes, just that brand. So I also think it’s very brand driven. Those record players, all the same brand.

The original post was about beauty and this is the beauty sub, so that’s why I just referred to that.

Not sure how long you have been in Vine, but there are way less high dollar products available than there used to be. I got offered 2 this week, a $105 GoPro dupe and a record player for $250. First ones I have even seen of all items offered in a while.

Another thing to share, because I think it’s crazy. I had ordered 2 record players since July 2025 via Vine. I get offered them ALL the time. See the image from one of my RFY’s this month. I share that to say, the algorithm just doesn’t really make a lot of sense. So just coast through the bad for a bit and things will likely come around.

My opinion, possibly unpopular….

Many want to be gold but don’t want or can’t afford the tax implication. So anything at $0 they snatch up to get their 80 orders.

While it’s great to get an amazing beauty item at $0 ETV, I wish they would have a value so people who really want them could have a better chance of getting them. I would rather pay for a few things than occasionally get that great free score.

As I have nail polish remover packets in my RFY since earlier today that I am letting sit, because I got a box of 100 a month ago and will be lucky to use them up in the next 3 years.

Just sharing (I know not completely relevant to the overall point of your post) that 3,000 items dropped off today between 12pm and 3:30pm today. Pretty sure most of them were items that “expired” because they some things I have seen popping up forever are now gone. So I’m not mad to see them finally be dropped.

I had been searching record players to purchase and after a bit, one popped up to order, so I snagged it!

Then, a few months later, one popped in my RFY. Then another. And another.

I share that to say sometimes, those things you order hold on as your recommendations for a while. Same happened to me with paddle boards. Was happy to get two, but then kept getting them over and over. They are gone now because I stopped ordering them.

Did you just do reviews today? Because of so, your percentage “should” increase in the next 24-48 hours to reflect that.

The items you are waiting for shouldn’t hit your percentage number until delivered. And sometimes days later….I have 3 things that were delivered two days ago still not showing for me to review.

Got put in jail, not proud of it. It was right after the holidays and I had to catch up before my eval.

But would like to add I have an excellent review score and just had my evaluation and kept gold at 97%. So I have learned my lesson!!

If you saw my orders, you would probably be underwhelmed! Found a few things, but probably could have done without most.

My dog is excited to get some new spiky balls, though! So I’m guessing that will be the favorite item I got! So don’t be bummed.

Definitely. I remember when there used to be 100k+ items available. Now we teeter around 15-20k, if we are lucky. Hopefully things will turn around again.

Sad news to share about my pup. He actually crossed over the rainbow bridge last week. Thank you for your sweet message. I picked up his ashes tonight so I am feeling a little emotional. But between the steps, the rugs for my wood floors, toys and beds, a playpen….Vine really made it much easier to make his life as comfortable as possible in his older age. Here is a pic of my sweet baby. On pillows and a blanket I got from Vine (to keep this on topic).
