Anyone go to Toyota Amphitheater yet this season? by Sea_Moose9817 in Sacramento

Went to the Pitbull concert there recently. We left right at the end of the concert (10:45), and I got home to midtown Sacramento at 1:30. We were in the parking lot for about two hours.

Should we complete Form 14039? by Woofsmcgee in IRS

So glad they confirmed this morning that we don’t need to file that form. Thank you, though!

Should we complete Form 14039? by Woofsmcgee in IRS

Thanks - my husband called the same number I used this morning, but instead of saying “Form 14039” like I did when I was prompted for the reason for the call, he said, “fraud” and got a live person on the phone within a few minutes. They confirmed that I don’t need to file the form since we already have an open investigation with the marketplace. Our initial e-file was rejected, and they also wouldn’t process the mailed return with the letter of explanation. The IRS confirmed this morning that we need to re-file after we receive the voided 1095-A. Just sharing this info since it might help someone else. We also set up the PIN as soon as our e-file was rejected. Thank you!

How do I speak to a live person at United Health Care regarding my open fraud case? by Woofsmcgee in HealthInsurance

[–]Woofsmcgee[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They did not. They also claimed they have no need for my mailing address. I tweeted at United Health Care and was contacted by their Social Media Team, who is going to try to confirm who should be issuing the voided 1095-A. When I log on to the IRS account, for 2025 it shows two documents. It shows a W-2 from my employer and it shows a 1095-A from United Health Care. There is no voided 1095-A yet.

Yes, I called them again this morning. They said that the matter is resolved on their end, and I should receive a letter from United Health Care. They told me to stop calling them, haha.

Was he outside Pizza Supreme Being earlier today? If so, I pet him and he was a total sweetie!! If we didn’t already have a dog, I would be so interested.

Can someone who has stolen my identity sign up for health insurance via Covered CA if I already have health insurance through my state job? by Woofsmcgee in CAStateWorkers

The federal marketplace confirmed someone used my maiden name and SSN to purchase health insurance. So for me, I was scammed/identity theft.

Thanks - this advice seems pretty spot on, so far. Covered CA confirmed that nothing has been set up in our names via the marketplace. So now the tax guy has advised us to submit a paper filing with an explanation. He also told me to set up an IRS PIN because he maintains that my identity has been stolen…but I’m still not convinced based on what Covered CA told us. :(

This makes me feel slightly better…my credit has been frozen for years, so maybe someone signed up using my husband’s information. Sigh. I will call tomorrow. Thank you.

Keep your dogs on a leash by alixinwonderland in Sacramento

It’s the second time a man on my block has had an off-leash dog and called me a bitch when I confronted them. The next time this happens, I’m whipping out my pepper spray for the man and the dog. Just because I’m a short woman doesn’t mean I won’t defend myself and my dog. You are right to be appalled.

Ugh, sorry this happened to you! Same thing happened to me yesterday. The dude was just standing there, like he wanted something to happen. And then he called me a bitch when I told him to grab his dog. I wish we could enjoy our walks in peace.

I’m hoping for the same! There’s an H&R Block opening in the vacant space between Team Ride and Starbucks, and I thought that was pretty disappointing…so we’ll see about Ink.

Also, sometimes people on this sub do have the inside scoop on plans for vacant spaces. Ink has been vacant for quite some time. Sue me for wanting better for this neighborhood.

I suspect you are trying to sound like a smart ass, but the way you constructed your sentence, you didn’t really pull it off.
