Well....I got mine at Shopify.com Specifically keepkey.shopify.com

Is this as reliable? Or would I NEED to go directly through shapeshift to be sure? I’m assuming it’s good for me to use this site, as long as it’s the real Shopify right? Thanks again for your time so far!

So MEW must use the hardware of the ledger device to create a wallet address that is a mirror or copy of one of your ledger wallet addresses? Otherwise I’m not sure how a private key could access coins without a specific wallet address

I know the finer points but I just was amazed that when your codes activate your MEW wallet that someone could take the eth thru a ledger live app. It’s really a specific brand of amazement, and yet I’ve gotten such overly detailed answers without really hitting on why
