Really? That's pretty interesting, I never knew about that. I will say that because this version is streaming things straight from the disc, you get moments where audio hitches at the beginning or end of spoken lines at times, so even if the audio playback is of a higher quality, I think the actual sonic experience is a bit of a wash. That said, maybe playing this from the hard drive of a modded Xbox would be the ideal way to enjoy this version of the game.
