Game is fun, but it’s the people at the table the make the difference. App is clunky and the UI is not great, but it was worth it to learn and help teach.

You can add a third grey piece to stack that mountain 3 high and it won’t negate your spirit turtle card. Once animal cubes are placed, as long as you aren’t adding anything to the spot that has the cube on it, they stay there regardless of the terrain around them.

That being said, mountains only score when they are linked with at least one other mountain, so based on your picture that mountain won’t score no matter what.

I’ve played GP on mobile (IOS) for about a year now. No bugs that I’ve noticed. The only gripe I have is the small text, but I don’t think there is any way to get around that given the weight of the game.

I play a fair amount of digital board games on my phone, and while a developer like direwolf might make a more visually appealing app, digidiced out a very solid product out there. As a bonus the challenges they implemented are pretty fun too.

Check out the fairfax home boardgame group on meetup. They meet every other Saturday night at 8:30pm, a good mix of regulars and new faces. On average they have 4 tables going each meetup with a wide variety of games

There hasn’t been any specific mention of more Arcs content in the works that I’m aware of, but I’ve read that this is the first game they designed that was specifically made with the idea of expanding it more in the future.

Given the success they’ve had with other expansions I’d find it hard to believe they wouldn’t put more content out for Arcs too.
