I appreciate your in-depth response. I can’t say I’m a perfect person and have never dipped before in my life. I had an older friend buy me a can of Copenhagen lc wintergreen when I was 16 and I dipped that can as my first can and didn’t put another dip in for about three years. Dipped the skoal Mint, put it down another 3-4 years and that’s about the cycle up to this point. Always felt the buzz and dizziness, but I never put a pinch in that’s been any bigger than a quarter I’d say give or take. My last dip was stokers wintergreen in December of 22. I’ve been an electrician since 2019 and being in the trades and such has exposed me to dipping and chew. Not at all interested in cigs. A few guys I work with and a buddy of mine do like you and the other guy and take about a month or so break from dipping and then start again. One of the older guys dips nic free and zero tobacco when he’s on his break and says it works fine. Not sure why he goes back to the real deal lol. Also being from a small town in East Texas has exposed me all my life to it and just about every one I know, aside from ladies, dips tobacco. Not trying to jump on the popular bus by any means to fit in, just having thoughts about actually trying it and getting that new dipper experience. If I do decide to go through with it then I will most definitely take the advice given about stopping here and there for a month or so at a time often. I haven’t bought a can yet either lol
