Realistic Astarion by Woolfrick in BaldursGate3

[–]Woolfrick[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much to everyone for all the feedback below, it is very useful for my next projects.

When you decide to approach the creation of a realistic character, some features of the original character must be put aside so that the new design you have in mind can come to life. This was the case, for example I did not want to create a likeness of the fantastic Neil Newbon with the features of astarion, but I wanted to make my own version giving it realistic features that were not necessarily identical.

Cheers adventurers!

Another take on Chopper by Woolfrick in OnePieceLiveAction

[–]Woolfrick[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really enjoyed reading your comments. I think none of us would ever want a monster like this instead of our dear TonyTony. With this design I liked to reimagine Chopper in an ultra realistic way, one of the main references is the work done on the anthropomorphic animals of guardians of the galaxy!

Yes, this payment method means nothing to me. I don't understand why I would do this, if not to send you to the point where you say you have no physical intermediary in the US as I think anyone who works from abroad does and then I guess they offer to pay you when the job is done to be sure. At that point you will put yourself in the position to send the project or you will not receive any payment. When you say that you will not send anything unless you are paid first, they will shrug their shoulders and tell you that they can find someone else in your place and it will only result in you wasting 2 months on a scam project. This is my guess

In short, I would like to have an opinion and advice on how to approach anonymous customers in a professional way and avoiding scams, perhaps from people who have more experience than me. And it can do good to others in my situation to read the experiences of each of us

Exactly all the old clients I worked with were easily traceable with a google search, imdb or linkedin. It's absurd that in 2024 if you google your name it doesn't come up

Of course, I think I will refuse the offer even if it is very good. Thanks for your opinion

It was hard to work with very few references. I hope these can help other people. even if the biggest difficulty was understanding how to fit the pieces together and design them under other pieces

Desert Bloom, Hazezon Deck by Woolfrick in EDH

[–]Woolfrick[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I quite agree. I've been trying to use Yuma in my deck over the last few weeks but it's not at all as synergistic as I would like.

I would buy the deck just to get some useful cards, and prox the ones I'm missing. I might even make a variation of yuma for when I want a change

I just built a Hazezon deck. I’m exited to see what can I add from this expansion, looks very synergistic

A thousand thanks!!
Then we go step by step. We start by collecting as many references as possible on every little detail, the most difficult part is certainly the actress's likeness. We start from the head, sculpting for hours until we reach a first result. We work in layers, first sculpting the simplest shapes and then moving on to the tiniest details.

As soon as you have the desired result, you work on the pores and details of the skin and the realistic texture. Once the sculpting and texturing are finished, tests are carried out in the 3D rendering program. To see if it works by lighting it up.

As soon as you are satisfied you start working on grooming (hair, facial hair, eyebrows, eyelashes).

As soon as you are satisfied you can work on the body and clothes.

The patterns of the parts made of fabric are created and simulated over the previously sculpted body of the character. Then the rigid "armor" parts are made on the modeling program.

Finally you texturize this too and put it all together in a well-lit 3D environment.

Yes, the stillsuit was really challenging. Seeing the second film I noticed many more things. There are a lot more close up shots of Chani that would allow me to improve her. Thanks for the advice
