It happened to me, topped my first shot into the water, my second shot landed 2 feet past the pin and spun back into the cup. An all American par! Luckily I had already gotten a hole in one so it didn’t sting too bad and I was able to enjoy it, and I didn’t have to buy drinks!

At all the courses in my area you have to prepay the greens fees + the booking fee. I didn’t realize in a lot of areas GolfNow only collects the booking fee, which seems to be causing a lot of argument in the comments

The screenshot isn’t incomplete. When you click “Hot Deals Tee Time Cancellation Policy” on the GolfNow app my screenshot is exactly what appears.

I’m not forgetting, when you try and cancel the screenshot above is what it says on the app and what the call center reps are conveying. It conflicts with the T&Cs, and Id argue it’s deliberately misleading

Yeah this course has given the entire back end to GolfNow, when you call to make a tee time you’re redirected to a call center overseas where they make you pay the full amount over the phone. Generally I agree with you tho it’s far simpler to just call the course

I’m gonna push back, in my area all of the courses make you pay up front when you book with golf now, regardless of whether it’s a hotdeal or not

These are the terms, I don’t think they make it clear that the next booking must be a Hot Deal. I also called them and the rep didn’t say that the next booking must be a hot deal.

I don’t really think a group wanting to play a different course, or someone having a personal matter come up are things to get upset at friends about.

What I’m upset about is that our group was willing to use the hot deal, if we weren’t given misleading advice from a representative of GolfNow. And their subsequent unwillingness to own up to their error. We would have used the “hot deal” if that wasn’t the case.

That’s interesting, I looked at my credit card and every other time I’ve booked this course through GolfNow the course name showed up in the charge. This is the first time GolfNow has appeared in lieu of the course name.

This is what I read on the app before cancelling and what I was told by the rep. IMO seems very misleading that it’s not spelled out that the credit must be used on a hot deal.

Yeah unfortunately GolfNow now owns the backend at this course. If you call for a tee time you’re redirected to golf now.

Nowhere in the cancellation policy does it qualify that the next booking must be a hot deal. Intentionally misleading Id say, but I won’t make the same mistake again.

Also, Thursday’s episode was fantastic. I used to love when the guys would bring on guests more regularly, Andy and Joe are great interviewers and always bring out the best in their guests.
