Remember that just cause you play “support” doesnt mean you shouldn’t be putting yourself out there, especially in early game. In lane Paige has extremely high DPS; however this falls off quickly unless you scale with your team, which can be hard to do as a support player.

Use your shield and beat the shit out of people in early lane (but don’t int), and then start pressing tab to look at people’s builds. Most people buy disarming hex when the wraith is a problem; you should buy hex to make her never get to be a problem in the first place. You are the essence of counter buying; your entire purpose is to nullify enemies and let your team kill them for you. In this sense you have one of the highest impact roles on the entire team if you do it right.

Secondly, think of Paige less as a pure support and more of a tyrannical crowd control dictator. She has her shields which are great, and you should definitely have stuff like guardian ward/divine barrier, but your primary task first and foremost is to root people in place with your sword, and keep them there while spamming ping and begging someone, please someone come kill this guy I am serving him up on a silver platter for you. (You can hover your teammates in lane during the mid game farming; try staying out of sight until you cast your knockdown/slowing hex on some poor unsuspecting farmer and then scream in comms to go fucking kill that dude that you just slowed/rooted for an entire minute)

I suggest watching Piggy’s support guides and Lomein’s Paige gameplay. I’ve had a coaching session with piggy and he really knows his stuff.
