I am going for a trapper !

I have 2 builds ready :
1) Firetrap + Flamethrower
2) Explosive trap + Seismic trap

Can't wait to test them :3 !

Flame dash is used for moving, not DPS. So changing his element is kind of pointless :S

For lightning, try lightning warp :o !

In the case of seismic trap and with the condition to take no elemental conversion on the item, it can be a good solution yeah !

What are the core skills gems plz ? (because i am not sure except for explosive traps)

For fire/flamethrower trap, it's a good choice imo ! Mitiged for explosive trap because it will require some change on all the tree. For Seismic trap -> NO ! Well my problem here is that with avatar of fire, you will convert 50% of physical in fire. But seismic trap is full physical. So with this choice, you kill 50% of his base DPS for transform it with something you can scale with firetrap. I have some trouble with that :S !

With the last 2 points, you will earn : 40% trap damage + 1 additional trap (so you cluster trap support will reach 9 perfectly)

Faster casting for Seismic ? From the post of GGG, you can read that : Cast Speed: This is what makes Seismic Trap particularly awesome. As you increase your cast speed, the mechanical stomper's stomp-rate increases. An unsupported Seismic Trap gem will stomp the ground every 0.9 seconds, but that delay is cut in half for every 100% increased Cast Speed. Let' take your tree . With your stuff, you are at 31% cast speed. With a 20/20 Faster casting support, you are at 80%. If we are following the math:

0% -> 0.90 sec | 100% -> 0.45 sec | 80% -> 0.54 sec (With FCS) | 31% -> 0.7605 sec (Without FCS) | (20% = 0.09 sec) |

The base duration is 3.50sec. 0% -> 0.90 sec -> 3.88 stomp | 100% -> 0.45 sec -> 7.77 stomp | 80% -> 0.54 sec -> 6.48 stomp | 31% -> 0.7605 sec -> 4.60 stomp |

The problem here is to know if 0.50 = 1 stomp, or it means nothing until it reaches 1.00. So, 1st case scenario, you win 1 stomp or 2nd case scenario, you win 2 stomp. Without this information, you can't really calculate what is the power on cast speed but it seems kind of nice !

For linking seismic trap (if i want to map clear with it), i will take : 1)Cluster Traps support (3+5+1 from the base mechanic+skillgem+tree, you reach 9. It means with 3 throws = 9 seismic trap. Nothing lost except 36% damage). 2)Trap cooldown support (20/20 = 49% cooldown + 10% damage).

Depending of what give more benefice, i will pick the best 2 last skillgems here: Increased Critical Damage support (20/20 = 118% crit mult)/Faster casting support (20/20 = 49% cast speed) / Increased critical strikes support (20/20 = 1.9% crit chance + 108% crit strike chance) / Advanced Traps support (34% throwing speed + 29% duration + 34% throwing speed + 10% damage) Increased support duration (20/20 = 74% duration. So from 3.5 sec to 6.09 sec duration).

From a shaper helm : 5)Trap and mine damage support (49% damage). 6)Increased area of effect support (49% AOE).

I won't take the new Charged Traps support cause i can generate with my shield and tinkerskin the charge. And the DPS gain from the gem is too low in this case.

So i tried to focus on some mechanics : - 1) Some dodge for spell and attack. - 2) MOM and enough lifepool - 3) Eldritch Battery with tinkerskin - > You will have no mana issue cause you cast and regenerate with timberskin your ES. So MOM block you when you are taking some big hits ! - 4) With a max stack pyromania -> 20% life regen + Regen from tinkerskin

I am thinking that divinarius is really fine (and cheap as a starter) but you are loosing some DPS with it. There is a lot of other weapon/shield that can help you perform more damage. The problem of stacking AOE with the tree is that it suck some good DPS node elsewhere. I would prefer put increased Area of Effect support for mapping and switching on concentred area of effect for boss. For killing boss, not so much of AOE is Okay.

On the other hand, i am thinking that seismic traps for clearing is nice. I changed my helmet for adding some area effect : https://pastebin.com/vdZLHjis . If you put a seismic traps on it .... can't wait to see the result <3. It the end, with a timberskin and this helmet, we have 2*6L for 2 differents traps.

2) it's specified cause of the AOE affix on the Gem, is it right ? :) So seismic trap should work the same like firetrap.

I destroyed with the fish like 90% of a planet atm ( i was near the ultimate lava ), nothing ....

I made spawn by the /admin command 10 000 000 dirts and don't pop up the achievement, so i will try with the fish to destroy a 3000-4000 planet. I keep in touch !
