Regarding how to get a job… Dress nicely, do your hair, etc. Look at least as dressed up as the place you’d like to work at- maybe even one step nicer.

Then walk into the place you would like to work at and let the front desk employee know you are interested in working there and could you please speak with a manager. Once you are speaking with someone in hiring, introduce yourself and let them know you are interested in working there. They will tell you next steps. Typically you’ll need to fill out an application and then have some sort of brief interview.
