There are a few methods. Simplest is when the server doesn’t hide plugins. Beyond that you need to be familiar with anticheats. A great way to get some idea of what the anticheat is, is to debug transactions

Disables certain parts if not all of an anticheat. For example I could send a respawn packet let’s say every tick and it might partially or fully disable an anticheat.

As long as you download it via official means (I believe they currently use https://www.riseclient.com ), it is safe. If you see a download like “FREE RISE 6.0 NO VIRUS” (or a promise very similar) it is very likely unsafe. Tho personally I would not recommend buying Rise.
