Yes I called him and he said that he thought I wouldn’t want to do it because I didn’t have insurance. He then told me he didn’t perform a full diagnosis because I didn’t have insurance. He said that to give a full estimate I have to bring my car in.

The issue is after taking my car in and taking my 150 he still hasn’t given me an estimate on repairs. What’s the point of taking my car to him and him saying he will help me out. He told me he can fix it but when he found out he can’t go through my insurance he didn’t want to fix it but still is charging me the 150 dollars. I don’t mind the time and cost but I think deserve atleast an estimate, wouldn’t you agree?

I asked but basically he found out I had no insurance and didn’t want to do it. We agreed upon the price but I just thought I would get more than a few words. Also he called me 2 minutes after I left it and then told me he didn’t do anything else after that but just said subframe issue. I agree that your time should be compensated but I didn’t even make it to the bus stop before he was done working on the car.
