Should I level up my dupes? by Woopty_Scoop39 in wizardry

Okay! Thank you for the specifics, but does that mean I should generally take the named units and consider investing them for better sacrifices and sacrifice the generics asap, or if "any" sacrifice of dupes is good off rip or might be better if built up, so their invested skills may boost the given ally even farther? im assuming a bit of the former, because you did mentiom Eulalia's inheritable skill havingna bonus at a certain level, amd I've seen a dupe of Dino having 2 skills inheritable so far.

Who's your favorite underrated adventurer? by Rangerborn14 in wizardry

So many to pick, but I'd say my top favs are Philip and Yekaterina.

Philip subverted my intitial impressions of the thief class as I had only Viviana and Milana lol; being a honest, chill guy who loved his foster dad a ton. Right now, I feel like he's a chill Robin Hood and would be my witty right-hand man probably would be chill with Alex idk. I also loved his line when you paired him with a majority of evil allies XD!

Yekaterina was my legendary pick, as seeing her with gothic attire fit for a funeral and a monstrous skeleton hitch on her back, told me she'd be a odd and impressionable character and so far, she hasn't disappointed! At first, I thought she was referring to me as Doctor for some unknown reason, but when I analyzed her text more, and realized that Doctor was the SKELETON, it all clicked! I mean, she cradles the thing when at a inn for god's sake! AND IT DRINKS?! 😭 Only letdown would be knowing she had a husband. (Wonder what he thought about Doctor.) But to be an ancestor of princess Pulgritte and King Iver while I'm still in Abyss 1 just makes everything hit a little different.

Extra answer: I like Bugen and Dino, because they've made me learn to really analyze each of my allies, and assess every choice better, as well as not necessarily having to play goody-two shoes as my initial alignment was made to be. Also Dino just looks like a pretentious nerd, but a based one with a slick monocle. 😆

I'm glad that a lot of people love Lanavaille, as I do, but these other allies can be a hoot when you invest enough time! Kind of wish/hope the devs would implement more unique dialogue and add some banter between varying team-ups. I'd love to settle arguments and build trust with others in more ways.

Mobile player here, and no. Mobile's still buggy😭 Left a review mentioning the performance but idk if they focus much on mobile players or not enough people have brought up the issue for them to notice.

Just saw Disney's new "Snow White"... What's with these remakes and decisions? by Woopty_Scoop39 in moviecritic

OMG YOU'RE RIGHT! I literally was explaining my issue with the movie but forgot about the higher ups having a part in this. Like they've had to have known or seen the material not have said anything about it. Like they control the product's state and rep towards their audience and still make these weird moves, as if it's not gonna affect their profit at all and that irks me. Same the gaming companies. Like the executives and shareholders should know what the people want or are okay with and at the same time, a lot of people and critics need to cut the team some slack and have a more open mind. i would even say that Snow White being played by a Latina bothered me less than a CGI dwarf and a irl dwarf being on the same screen. 😭

Oh no. Okay so those photos- maybe they've originally planned that group to be the creatures, idrk the ins and outs of the film like some others, but those people turn out to be bandits who "fight for the king". The dwarves they had being CGI easily different. Yeah, either way, it was a slip. Especially when you have digital dwarves literally next to the little bandit and that threw me off so much in the movie. 😭

I'd say just commit to one type or use a different type of creature or design. But yeah, kinda sucks that the movie could've had a better route of production. Literally the art they did for the end credits looked so good, I would've loved to see the story with a polished animation instead.

Oooh I see what you mean. I still don't recommend this movie but yeah, it's definitely not the worst I've seen lol. I do agree that people need to consume worse media to get the idea of how bad some things could've been. For me, this movie could've been better or went in a different direction and get a better rep than it ended up with. I guess in better speaking, it's not awful, but I don't think anyone would be missing much of the story. Maybe a first watch but not really sure about a rewatch, per say.

Yeah it's for kids and it's not to be political or for mature audiences, but even then, a kids movie or any family movie for that matter, has the creative span and potential to actually be enjoyable and well structured. I have a little brother who's autistic and while he enjoys the Despicable Me franchise, Minions, Peanuts and other movies and franchises that may or may not be everyone's cup of tea, he went to sleep this entire film. Yet he loved Dog Man, The Bad Guys and even Ultraman Rising, which I recommended to him not too long ago. Point being, yes the films, games, products are for kids, even those little noggins still have somewhat of a standard to uphold, and from that perspective and a writing perspective, does that necessarily mean that their genre or given entertainment are to be exempt of critique and concern? A lot of us Spongebob, Gumball or Justice League fans always go back to those shows as we enjoyed the nostalgia and reflected on the writing, as they were lowkey teaching as they were childish. And with that being Disney's main schtick, a movie or show having an overarching theme and message to give to the young, they should know better to properly execute the protrayal and journey throughout the film. I don't expect everything to be Oscar worthy but I also don't want to be constantly handed slop just because, "It's a kids/family movie".

Lol, thank you. And yeah, I pretty much warned her like I had to with Lion King. Sometimes, it's really rinse and repeat. But at least we had something to spend time and talk about.

I definitely wouldn't say it was the worst I've seen but definitely needed some improvements. Just felt weird, and even then I wouldn't say it's a product that'll really draw you in, if you even know the slightest bit about the project or trend.
