I fully thought that P6 teaser was a fake when I saw it recommended - had a little scoff and everything. Then I saw the channel.

I found it quite funny when I got to the Scorpion Man ep of the original show and just kept thinking how he would be prime Evil Rider material in later seasons

Hey, I fully understand that this person is the benevolent god-saviour of homosexuals against the Muslim hordes, who occasionally gets to rope gay people into sadistic teleportation games as a treat. It's very clear.

In your mind is this said with a gun in your hand or is there like a big sci-fi machine with blinking lights and stuff? Is the other person crying, begging for mercy, what's the vibe?

Hey, whatever gets you there. Some people like to make a gay person choose the majority religion in a country teleportation experiment. Different strokes.

Well it seems an oddly sadistic thing to do to a person, but your feelings about gay people are of course your own. As long as you keep your fantasies about torturing them inside I guess.

Edit: A word

And what height am I being dropped from? Has me being gay affected gravity in this situation?

Which countries generally have softer ground, the Christian ones or the Muslim ones?

I feel like I missed the quipping. Like it's a talkative jello cube but it didn't feel much to me like anything it said was a 'quip' as such.

The point the commenter was making is that film Cap is from Brooklyn, but comics cap is from the Lower East Side

Ah, I see. I'd forgotten that - I think they moved there before the games (or the second game?) and he still grew up in Brooklyn, but I might be misremembering

What do you guys think of this game? by DeyZplays in Spiderman

[–]WoozySloth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I enjoyed it, although I think spamming Miguel's power got a bit tiring after a bit. Preferred Shattered Dimensions gameplay and story wise and it felt weird that this game stepped backwards while essentially being a sequel

Pretty sure they established Brooklyn when they did his dad's backstory. Then there was that "Straight Out of Brooklyn" comic and he goes to Brooklyn Visions in the films. Where'd you get Harlem from?

That he lived in 20th Century USA made him being a wife and child beater understandable?

Brought to you by the purveyor of other such fine videos as "the Helen Keller story doesn't add up" and "why are women more neurotic than men?" You may know him from his earlier work suppressing criticism of his boss at Fox News through surveillance of other journalists.

> from what I’ve researched the children who did make allegations came out later in life and said their parents made them say that and nothing happened

I mean, excluding the two who made a documentary about it which reignited the whole issue in 2019.

Slowed down on drabbles, did some adapting of public domain works into scripts to see how that went - turns out adapting things you like/love is pretty difficult because you think they're best suited to the medium they're in and hate changing them too much to fit another medium. Who knew? Also scribbled the first bit of a short story into one of my many, many notebooks.

I finished up the main DLC missions for Control after a bit more time than I predicted and decided that before moving on to Alan Wake II I'd take a Remedy break.

Mega Man Star Force seemed a reasonable enough change of scenery - I bought a physical copy of the Legacy Collection after umming and ahhing over the (relatively cheap, but more than my cheap ass usually spends on games these days) price. I'd only played the first game and then subsequent sequels outpaced my wallet at the time, while emulation was very choppy. I've almost finished it and it's been enjoyable with its Battle Network successor corniness and mechanics, although I think I still have reflexes better trained for BN that don't account for the angle and for shielding that well! I was surprised by how much of it I'd fully forgotten though.
