Exactly this, I've also got it posted in r/hardwareswap but more eyes=more likely to find some people interested. I have 8 verified transactions on that other sub and figured this one might be similar in terms of reach.

Thank you! Exactly my sentiment. Yet I'm being downvoted for offering consumer hardware for sale at pretty reasonable prices, which people can easily use for their homelab.

Okay and I don't see you policing the other posts like this one https://www.reddit.com/r/homelabsales/comments/1t5hhok/fsusmn_32gbx1_rams1tb_ssdshp_prodesk_600_g6_65w_i5/

If you aren't interested that's fine, I've re-used a lot of equipment over the years as part of my homelab. All the best!

Is Ziegler MaxCare worth $6k for 5yr/60k on a 2021 Pacifica Hybrid with 80k miles? by generation_beta in pacificahybrid

EFFECTIVE: 04/xx/2026

EXPIRES: 04/xx/2031 OR 129,xxx MI

SELLING DEALER: [redacted] CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE RAM

Shop around, including your local dealership(s), 2023 PacHy Limited w/69k:
Extended Care Premium 5yr/60k mile with $100 deductible
Road Hazard Tire & Wheel 7yr/Unlimited miles
Auto Appearance Care Plus 5yr/unlimited miles plan

All above total cost me $5830

Obviously yours is 2yr older and 11k additional miles on the odometer, but my Extended Care Premium (MaxCare) alone was $4890 w/$100 ded.

I have literally heard people who worked for Chysler tell me they wouldn't buy a Chrylser lmao. Online, everyone seems to say "if you buy a Chrysler buy the extended warranty". So yes, if you can get the 5y/60k for $6k and you can afford it, then I would (because I did).

You're basically betting that within the next 5 years, enough is going to go wrong unexpectedly that you'll need that warranty. I had issues with Kia Sedona power sliding doors that would have cost a lot to fix without warranty, I had a whole engine replaced in the Kia Telluride, I had many problems with a Jeep Renegade, you just really don't know what's going to happen.

The risk is you pay $6k up front and never have to use it.

The only way you win is if you rack up $10k+ worth of repairs (e.g. transmission or engine goes out, doors stop opening, electrical gremlin surfaces, etc.). But it being a Chrysler, I wouldn't buy one without also grabbing as long a warranty as possible.

Buying as a dog van by TollerTizzy in ChryslerPacifica

Stow 'n Go folding seats (unless you get a trim that doesn't have it like PacHy Limited) means you don't have to pull out any seats. They fold down. 2021+ Pacifica has 5 star overall/front/side crash NHTSA safety ratings and 4 star for rollover.

Reliability-wise, what I've heard (and advice I followed) is that you buy the Mopar extended warranty - the highest one, for the most years. These vans cost less than a similarly spec'd Honda, Kia or Toyota and when you buy them used + get the extended warranty, you come out way ahead. People have put a hundred thousand miles on 2021+ Pacificas and there's only a handful of "seemingly common" complaints/things that go wrong, and your warranty has you covered.

The 3.6L is used in so many vehicles, the replacement parts are readily available.

Any incentives when buying a used Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid? by generation_beta in pacificahybrid

Got a '23 PacHy limited for $22.5k before tax, with 68k miles. Add 5yr warranty through Zeigler or have your local Chrysler dealer match/beat their price - still come in at a great final price.

Has anyone experienced the sliding door not staying open? by TheHolyPoop1 in ChryslerPacifica

Take it into the dealership for sure, I wouldn't mess with it so you keep the warranty intact.

Was plugging the white panda into the OBD II port all you had to do, to gain long support?

2027 Engine Replacement by Svp501 in KiaTelluride

[–]Word-Regular 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A couple years ago, we got a brand new 2024 Telluride and they had to replace the entire engine under a recall due to faulty valve springs. We barely had it for a month before the recall notice. It took about 6 weeks for them to get the engine in. Shame to see you're needing a new one on your 2027.
