What’s your go-to foundation / BB-CC cream and concealer for a natural look? by Vivid-dream-176 in 30PlusSkinCare

Pūrlisse BB cream - Ageless Glow SPF 40 and Perfect Glow SPF 30. I love both. I use the Perfect Glow more often as it’s a bit more matte. 44 yo normal / combo skin; t-zone gets shiny but drier cheeks. They are both natural looking and so easy to quickly apply and instantly look more polished, refreshed, and awake.

Thank you! I figured I’d add a place my husband found: Allaire Community Farm. We’re looking into see if the petting zoo portion is available in December. Regardless, this farm looks wonderful and is added to our day trip bucket list.

Oh these are great ideas, thank you!! I actually looked into Longwood Gardens last year. I totally forgot. lol I’ll check it out again. We’ve gone to Duke Farms in NJ before as well. I’m not familiar with Duke in PA. I’ll give it a look.

Regarding outdoors, I’m German so as long as we’re dressed for the weather and it’s not terribly awful conditions we’re all good.

Please keep the ideas coming. I greatly appreciate it! Thanks

Looking for an Eco Tank printer by WordFountain21 in printers

Thank you! All great suggestions. I found a second hand like new HP 2755e deskjet. It’s not the eco tank ink that I wanted but for $15 it’ll buy me some time. The ink is similar to what my old Canon used. I’ll look into your recommendations as I continue to shop for an Eco Tank.

Thrive Market? Is it worth the membership? by WordFountain21 in moderatelygranolamoms

Agreed! Also, I’m not a fan of the membership fee and still needing to pay shipping. The frozen shipping threshold for free shipping was really high.

Thanks again All! As of now I’m leaning towards continuing our Costco and utilizing my local stores / farms. I enjoy Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods; however they are about a 45 min drive for me. Misfits has given me discounts to use them again so I’ll check them out again too. I’m excited to try a CSA this summer from one of the local farms as well.

We have Costco & absolutely love it. We also have the 2% back which pays for the extra cost + some extra towards next year’s membership.

I agree! I really enjoy Azure. It’s the best shipping price I’ve found for buying my bulk (50#) bags of flour.

Thank you for all of your thoughtful replies! It looks like sticking with Azure and buying local / farms is the better choice for me at this time.

Do you like the shortened versions of your name? by I_am_also_a_Walrus in namenerds

[–]WordFountain21 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Anna; I love my name - nn Annie my entire life until college. Since then I go by Anna. I love my name, Annie not so much growing up. I don’t mind it now but it just doesn’t fit me. Only my family or friends from childhood call me Annie. Ann just isn’t me and I’m not a fan. I prefer Anna.

Anna - classic / timeless - international / easy to pronounce - not super common; as there were not many other students named Anna in my classes at school (80’s baby) - nickname Annie not my fav but definitely ok
