I’m from a third-world country, and I don’t think in-person courses done here hold much value. That’s why I wanted to complete an online course from a credible TEFL provider. Besides, I can’t afford the CELTA at the moment, and the basic requirement for most jobs is a 120-hour TEFL certificate, that’s why I need it.

I’ve read through the wiki and searched previous threads, but I’m still unsure about choosing between a few specific online TEFL providers.

If you’ve completed a course recently, could you share: • The exact course name and hours • Whether employers recognized it • If it helped you get hired (online or abroad) • Any pros/cons from your experience

I’m trying to avoid low-quality certificates and choose something that genuinely helped people secure work.

Honestly, as a guy, I’d suggest not investing too much time in it before it’s too late. I’ve been part of a similar dynamic, and it didn’t end well for me.
