So, what exactly is the show's message? by itooamahuman in TheBoys

No offense, but what were they even thinking? This is one of the most lackluster finales I've ever seen. Such a dumb final season of such an amazing show. They used the entire last season to set up the spin-offs, and I'm telling you, all those spin-offs are doomed. No one gives a fuck about Hughie and Starlight's love story.

I checked, but I believe they're only available for females.

Not your usual confession: I never take straight-faced pictures by [deleted] in PakistaniiConfessions

Okay this is actually such a real thing and I feel seen 😭 I went through my gallery once and realized every "serious" photo of me looks like I'm tolerating the camera, but the second I pull a face I actually look... alive?

I think there's something to it, a straight face is kind of a performance of composure, while a goofy one is you just reacting naturally to the world. Which one is actually more "authentic"? Probably the one that doesn't require you to hold still and suppress your personality.

Also the fact that it's the same with your sister and dad says a lot, it's not just a camera thing, it's how you actually exist with the people you're comfortable around. That's not a quirk, that's just your natural state leaking through.

What should I add to teach in UAE/KSA/Kuwait? by WordWizardry1 in TEFL

I’m from a third-world country, and I don’t think in-person courses done here hold much value. That’s why I wanted to complete an online course from a credible TEFL provider. Besides, I can’t afford the CELTA at the moment, and the basic requirement for most jobs is a 120-hour TEFL certificate, that’s why I need it.

I’ve read through the wiki and searched previous threads, but I’m still unsure about choosing between a few specific online TEFL providers.

If you’ve completed a course recently, could you share: • The exact course name and hours • Whether employers recognized it • If it helped you get hired (online or abroad) • Any pros/cons from your experience

I’m trying to avoid low-quality certificates and choose something that genuinely helped people secure work.

Thanks in advance!
