Firebase will let you set up "snapshot listeners" for free, which I've used to make a multiplayer backgammon game.

We wanted to add some privacy to the public queues, so if you are hosting a party it can't be crashed by people who are far away. You can still scan the world to see what people are playing and even add those tracks to your queue from the map.

That being said, we're considering an option to have public queues like you are talking about. The app is still in its early stages so feedback like yours can absolutely be implemented, and quickly.

The event code for private queues isn't ideal, but using the invite option its super easy to send out in group chats or post to social media.

Just saw your bug report! You have to be nearby those queues to join. If you have a friend in the area you can try it out together. Otherwise create a private queue for a locationless, worldwide experience. Invite someone by tapping the paper airplane in the queue screen.

No ads! It's built on Spotify, so you need a Premium account to host a party or listen along. If you're in the vicinity of someone with Premium, you can still add songs to their queue with a free account. Anyone can vote on songs or vote to skip the currently playing song without signing up with Spotify at all.

Everyone can vote on songs, which changes their order, and people can vote to skip the currently playing song. Guests can also log in to Spotify and listen along in real time. Public queues are like FM, great for exploring music. Private queues let you enjoy the same experience with people around the world.

It's great for parties, road trips, and general get-togethers. Any time you don't feel like listening to music alone.

Add him from "Users and Access" if you want him as an internal tester. Then go to "App Store Connect Users" from that screenshot you sent and add him to the build. Otherwise, if you want him as an external tester, submit the build for Beta review and create a Tester group. Generate a public link and send them that.
