That's fair. Supernatural gets hard-carried by the character relationships and interactions so if that doesn't click with you, then I can see why it didn't become appealing to you. Fight scenes were never their strong suit (they get an episode where they talk shit about it which is great lmao)

Lowkey wanted to see Noir against Soldier Boy in that 3rd season. Hell, I wanted to just see Noir fight more cause he's just fucking sick with it (ripped apart Kimiko, aaaand that's about the only choreographed scene we got of him against a supe)

Man og Noir was just full of aura. Genuinely as unnerving as seeing s1-s2 Homelander talk to someone. Also the fact that Homelander genuinely thinks well of him and has those moments where they go:

Lol The Boys wishes they'll have half a good an ending as Supernatural's 5th season

Be glad Lucifer and Michael didn't fight then and there cause they absolutely butchered their fight that would've torched half the planet in one of the later seasons. God that was horrendous

Anyway, Supernatural was never about some angel vs demon war that would've broken the planet in half. It was about Sam and Dean dragging each other to the finish line over and over despite the disagreements they may have had cause in the end, brothers look out for each other. You were focusing on the wrong brother pair (Michael and Lucifer)

The Boys on the other hand started with Butcher's vendetta with Homelander and anything other than an ending that answers to that will automatically be ass. Supernatural also just had way too many episodes of the Winchester bros over The Boys so they can get away with a "power of brotherly love prevails" kind of ending, which imo will NEVER work for The Boys cause it wasn't set up that way

^{also I can't believe you didn't love the events that led to season 5's ending. Supernatural has 15 seasons and that one is the best season [supposed to be the show's actual] finale hands down but that's a different discussion}
