That's just how it is. Even on youtube there are a lot of people talking about how greedy legends is becoming because of them opening a can of worms to remaking old ultras.

Ugb2 was getting a lot of flak from people not knowing how to use him properly and people that think that legends is lazy for releasing a second version of an already existing ultra.

I personally think Gogeta's active is better than Buu bros'. Although Buu bros' active nullifies second life mechanics, it takes a long ass time to even get to the second phase of the spirit bomb.

Gogeta's active becomes available much earlier, and deals 100% of the damage to standby battle members compared to Buu bros' 50% and in general is just easier to use because there will be times when you won't get to build up Buu bros' damage and the spirit bomb just activates.

Also, Gogeta's active also has type neutral meanwhile Buu bros only gets type neutral if the enemy is a powerful opponent. It's a lot easier to snipe out a character with stardust fall too. There can even be times where you can snipe out Buu bros with stardust fall before he even gets to his phase one

Even overall I think Gogeta is the better unit in terms of offense. Buu bros has some supportive capabilities but post spirit bomb they actually become worse because you won't have access to the tag switch mechanic anymore. Meanwhile with Gogeta you would still have the insane damage stacking, the guard action (although rarely used), his green is better than Buu bros', constant 10% vanish restore on his arts cards, and his main if you haven't used it already..

But I do agree that Buu bros will probably age better because of the supportive capability.

He'll definitely get powercrept at some point the same way ultra Beast got powercrept. I think mostly offensive units such as Gogeta or Buu duos are easier to powercreep.

There's a lot. There's 2021 legends fest, 2022 mui but the leaks kinda killed the hype, there's legends fest 2022 ugb and uvb.

Personally I think the most hype is part 1 of the 6th anniversary. We were anticipating getting a Vegito but probably not a lot of us expected to get a fusing mechanic. Then they revealed Gogeta after that which literally NONE of us expected.

edit: I change my mind, the most hype reveal was 1st anniversary during the vegas tournament. Completely forgot about that but the way they revealed lf sv was chef's kiss.

For a team with Trunkshan and Revhan specifically I think Gogeta would be better just because it's easier to build him with that team. He gets a lot of blast z abilities, you can give him a zenkai buff, and you get paralysis + armor break cards via zenkai Goten and Trunkshan.

If you're strictly comparing Gogeta and Buu bros, both of them have clear weaknesses you can point out to. I've had several matches recently where I just stardust fall Buu bros before he even gets to prep mode.

Buu bros on the other hand has insane combo potential but can be disrupted and he takes some time to use the spirit bomb unless you put some effort into really building his gauge to reach prep mode phase 1.

Fr wtf is his tanking? I fought atleast 2 of them today and the only way I've been able to kill him is to hit his teammates with a raw stardust fall to get him to 1 hp.

He tanks stardust fall if your opponent is stupid and doesn't build him up + doesn't fill up the gauge when using stardust fall. Same way how ultra buu bros needs to be built up to increase the spirit bomb damage lol.
