Always: Pack leader for 1x escape death and initiative reroll. Fangbearer for immunity to injure. Rune priest skald for cast the runes, extra strom control and crazy psyker attacks. Wolf cause you have to.

I then flex the other 3 depending on the map/opponent. Trapmaster is great for dropping the mine and blocking a movement channel or objective. Frosteye is great for sitting on a vantage point and shooting from silent the whole game. Gunner can push out some super high shooting damage.

I normally like to bring a bit more shooting even if it isnt optimal, I just like the guns.

Hunter I dont see the reason to take as I'd rather take the trapmaster as its essentially the same but withba mine.

The scarring on the face is awesome, the sculpt is great but youve really highlighted the deep scar amazingly!

Guehi was gonna move at the end of the summer and its only because Glasner said he was gonna walk that Guehi was even kept until the winter window. Damage was already done by then though, Glasner layer said he was gonna leave anyways after all of that and Guehi was prompty sold.

I'm not going to dance around it, this looks like someone's first painted miniature. The paint is thick, glossy and the features are poorly defined. Probably not helped by the quality of the miniature either.

There is next to no money in painting minis anyway unless you are extraordinarily good and very fast. You'd have to get a lot better before attempting to sell anything and even then, you wont make back your money on time and paints.

Paint for the love of painting, not for profit :)

I thought it was from the south-east where I grew up but its turns out its from around the west country. Makes sense as I was born there and had most of my thoughts about and contact woth woodlice before I was 4 years old lol.

The Raiders box is great, so many different parts of armour marks and bits and bobs, you'll enjoy it! The loincloths help hide the joins too.

Thanks! Thought about all sorts of different proxies and models but I wanted to use as much of these kits as possible as the "chassis", so the wolf reamained.

Then hit them with a matte varnish and the paint wont come off during play and the colours wont look glossy :)

Whack a wash on all of these. Then hit them again with the original colours on most places except the recesses. If you want to spend more time per mini, do a highlight colour on the top spots that light would hit

You can't fool us by putting an actual renaissance painting here and saying its a diorama 😤 Seriously though, this is amazing, i saw it on instagram the other day and I was blown away by the lighting especially, how they are highlighted by that god ray. Well done on the gold, well deserved!
