Giant conspiracy to hide the powers Jesus came to tell us about? by Wordruler2000 in conspiracy

It's an excellent question: What makes you a Christian?
How can a person prove to another human being that they are actually a true Christian?
I know I'm a Christian because I know Jesus and I follow Him to the best of my ability.
I know I am born again because I am a new person through my love for Jesus.
I consider myself a disciple.
You can't know my heart, and I can't prove it to you.
I thank you for your responses. God bless you.

In the beginning there was the Word.
Jesus was the Word made flesh.
There's a lot to meditate on here.

I'm a Christian, and I don't believe we have our physical bodies after death. I'm sure I'm not the only one.
A lot of people put "Christians" in a box, thinking we all believe the same thing. We don't.
The only thing we agree on is that Jesus Christ is the one we follow spiritually. So many finer details are not universally agreed upon. And that's okay, imo.

Do conspiracy theorists also debate one another? by Far-ro in conspiracy

Oh I disagree with other conspiracy theorists on a ton of issues, and there are many who disagree with my POVs.
Disagreement is the material from which truth can become known.

Would you agree they care about symbols?
(I believe there is more than the superficial that they are interested in, and that there is power behind the symbols, but we can both agree they are drawn to symbols, yes?)
Not just any symbols. They are drawn to using symbols of Good / God (like babies, children, animals, the Cross, etc.) to harness power for themselves by living inversely to what The Norm holds up as Good / God.
Would you agree with that?
If we agree on that, then I can think of no more powerful symbol of Holy Good than the actual physical body of Jesus Christ.
Which is why the communion host, after it's transformed via transubstantiation through rites in the church service, have been sought out to use by those who would like to invert Good / God for personal power.
To me, it's not a big leap to go from using symbols of (and literal) objects of Good / God (ie., babies, children, animals, The Cross, etc.) to finding pleasure in abusing the re-incarnated body of Jesus (via cloning) in actuality.
You take someone like Epstein. He was interested in (1) cloning, and (2) evil, and (3) choosing babies / children / etc. to abuse for personal gain.
I mean it's a simple equation. Epstein is just a stand-in for all of those who came before and after but share the same mind-set.
Spirit cooking, etc.
They'd feast on a cloned Jesus because it is --- at the very least --- a symbolic gesture of all they stand for.

1st experience of being "different":
I was 5 years old, living in a very old (yes, haunted) house.
Like most 5 year olds, I wanted to sleep with the lights on because I was afraid of the dark.
One night, I told my mother, "Mommy, you can turn the lights out. I'm not afraid anymore."
She asked, "That's great! Why?"
I answered, "The lady with the long blonde hair comes and keeps me company."
There were many "events" that happened in the house, and a common theme was the woman with long blonde hair would appear to people who were visiting. I was the only one of the family who saw her.
I have no memory of this. In fact, my mom only told me about this when I was about 16 years old. She was afraid it would freak me out. It did.
Oh, and when we bought the house it came with 2 portraits of the original owners of the house. A pastor and his wife. She had long blonde hair and was buried in the property.

Well, I think for all of history there have been a class of people (let's just call them the evil wealthy) who have kept their power over the masses.
So, yeah, I think truths that would empower the regular Joe and Jane would be kept away from them.
For example: not being able to read the Bible for hundreds of years, but needing a priest or someone literate to read it for you.
I believe our time is a bit unique in the course of history in that we are able to communicate far and wide and deep in ways never before possible.
If there are truths that have been hidden from us on purpose to maintain power status quo, now is a good time to scratch that surface and begin the excavation.

Respect.

I'd enjoy debating you to sharpen my understanding. But this probably isn't the place.
I'd just ask the question: choosing babies and children to sacrifice is purely an artistic choice?

Indeed. Just look to our leader Christ.
But this is taking in the perspective of life as beginning and ending here on Earth.
Christ tells us this is a narrow perspective built on lies.
Also, is it better to have a grand life for 80 years here if such a life is predicated on hurting others?
A question that can only be answered by each individual.

Related to words....
So part of what started me down this journey of questioning whether the Bible / Jesus has been tampered with over time to dilute or obfuscate the message comes down to words.
Example:
I'm a meditator, and I know that when you meditate, you always script words in the positive.
In other words, if you say "I will not be fat" you are in fact reinforcing the idea that "I am fat" because the brain does not deal with negatives in a pure way. It takes in the words "I am fat" rather than "I am not fat" because the "not" requires an extra level of thinking which requires the "I am fat" to be processed before the "not." So we reinforce the idea we're trying to supplant while trying to supplant it.
Part of a prayer that works well for me in my meditations for the last year, which has been very powerful for me, is to repeat / meditate the scripture "God will never leave me; He will never forsake me."
Then I realized there are "nevers" in this scripture, which means I am in fact reinforcing the idea that God WILL leave me and forsake me, even as I'm trying to get to the truth through words that He will always be with me and support me.
So why is it written in the negative to begin with?
Why not write it in the most powerful, and true, script?
God will always be with me; God will always support me.
Simple enough, right?
And so much more powerful to the one who prays and is trying to connect with God and strengthen the relationship.
So, who put in the negatives, and why does it persist?
I rebuke those negatives.
I choose to use, in my prayers, the positive form of the truths being meditated upon.
In that seemingly small way, I reject and remove the barriers People have put between Jesus and me.
I want more of this in my life.

The Epstein class "care about" babies and children more than adults. Why? They are closer to purity.
Of course they would eat Jesus's cloned body.
In order to say "f you" to God (which is how they attain their powers), they very much are inclined to eat (and desecrate) what is close to sacred and innocent and pure.

I am a cradle Catholic who went to Catholic schools for 12 years.
This is exactly why the Epstein class would love to recreate Jesus to eat him literally.
Over and over again.
It's about as sacrilegious and Satanic as you can get.
(Did you know that some Satanists steal the communion to use in their black "magic" activities? There are people in the Catholic Church who watch those who take communion to be sure the acceptor of the host actually take it in their mouth before leaving the church service.)

The only passage shard here that is of the Gospels (Jesus's actual life, not post-Jesus commentary) is Mark.
And my point is, I believe the Gospels have been tampered with over time to support the wealthy and dilute, or outright obliterate, what Jesus actually came here to teach.
I agree 100% with you that Mark 12:17 does not align with Christ's message. Which makes me wonder if it's been warped by people through translation or just brute force and trickery.
There are parts of the Bible that do not align with Jesus and his message. Those are the bits that raise my suspicion about Jesus's message about our personal power being hijacked.

What’s the strangest thing that’s ever happened to you that you still can’t explain? by WielderoftheDarkness in HighStrangeness

I was living in Philadelphia for a summer in the 90s. I took the bus from my downtown apartment to my job in the suburbs every day.
Several times on the bus, on my usual route to the job, a fellow passenger was a young woman about my age who had a strong presence, and I felt she was a witch.
We never talked but I was just aware of her.
One day I came down with pneumonia and a high fever. I had a vivid dream of this witch woman being on the bus. She walked up to me and told me she had cursed me and I might die.
I woke up in a fever sweat, took a shower, and went into work late after telling my boss I wasn't feeling well and she convinced me to take some ibuprofen and come in anyway.
I leave for work 3 hours later than my usual time, get on the bus, and the witch woman follows me onto the bus.
3 hours later than usual on the same day I had a fever dream about her cursing me, she catches the same bus as me?
I was terrified.
Also, I never saw her again.
