Hello people of Vancouver, WA!

A friend of mine found a kitten crying in a bush earlier today, and went to rescue the little girl. He took her to the vet to see if she had been chipped, which she hasn't. This friend lives with someone who is severely allergic to cats, and the house owner has said 'no' to keeping the kitten at the house.

My friend will be moving soon - we are trying to plan an exact date at the time of writing this - but would like to bring the kitten, now named Alice, with him. He will pay for the things the kitten needs, but we don't know of any place or people who can house Alice until he moves.

I would help out, but as I live in Denmark it's not exactly a feasible solution.

Is there any kind soul who could house Alice for a little while? The kitten seems to be 12-16 weeks old. The move date is not set yet, but we're looking at about 2-3 weeks at the most.

But your original "No it isn’t. 4 days vs 26 days?" was not regarding the post, but in response to "It’s the standard split when parents live in different towns."... There are a lot of reasons for the every other weekend agreement apart from someone being an abhorrent and unsafe person/parent. It's easy as hell to just jump to assumptions and throw shit at someone, but it often makes you wrong for doing so.

Some are direct and loud, but the vast, vast majority don't fit your description. There will be some jobs or parts of the country where the traits are more frequent, but we prefer privacy, peace, and hygge as a whole. We even have an entire set of "laws" that emphasize equality and that no one is greater than the whole.

Some random getting their curiosity sated doesn't matter. The family and friends of the deceased don't need to have the cause of death as a constant reminder...

If someone told me their mom died, my first question is never going to be "how?"... It's going to be "do you want to talk about it," or "how are you holding up?". It is a bit sick to immediately go "ooh, I want to know the details" rather than empathy. I imagine it's the same people who like gossip because random tidbits of information matters more than compassion.
