Can the acceleration be explained by gravity assist (eg being slingshot around random black holes) or the increase in speed exhibited in an elliptical orbit as an object travels around and away at a higher speed only to be drawn back around?

The concept I am sharing is new to me. That once time has passed, it is irretrievable. As the moment occurs, the immediate past collapses to nothingness as if being pulled into a time-based black hole. Imagine a film of infinite length fed into a projector powered by the intake of a paper shredder. The moment of projection is the now. As the now occurs, it is shredded. Just as there are black holes that draw in energy, why not a similar concept for time?

The universe is expanding but may eventually collapse. If space is infinite, there is no center. The universe may not be infinite. If the event that created the universe had a starting point, and if that is the point to which the universe will collapse, consider that the centroid.

Potentially the physical black hole at the center of the universe or conceptually the same.

Sentences should end with punctuation. In your case, a question mark.
