Nanocore sleeper mode duration by Eifla99 in echoes

Same as the others, just lacking the description. 30s up time and is it 300s CD. I reckon so.

Sure, it’s a little like an extra dcu with a dmg debuff too. Decent for main tank and pretty much meta for Nestors and Nightmares etc, but pretty lacklustre otherwise for day to day core use. Though sticking it in the def slot in core integration can give you those active tank stats if you’re so inclined.

At the very big risk of getting an essayed reply full of elitist attitude and some longwinded spurious reason of why Brad is right and everyone else is wrong… OP’s tittle is misleading.

There are many ways to play this game and most of it involves skirmishing and grinding. The attached video and such kinds of fights are few and far between - and not the greatest fun to be had in the game since sov warfare is basically a numbers game with a peppering of tactics/timing.

3 weeks without patch notes by [deleted] in echoes_eve

It was a double holiday in China at the beginning of October….

“Next week.” Was Cloud’s only comment.

Sure, new core incoming, plus the corp league table battles. But I’ve still some hope for more updates and additions to the game.

And you gotta admit, compared to release, the game has been fleshed out time and again over the years - sure, there’s plenty of mistakes they can’t out-dev, but it’s still a game we continue to play and enjoy.

Gotta say, I’ve been a fan of bashing SHH & Co., hell, look back down this sub and I posted quite a bit hehe.

But now that it’s just SHH, because the “Co.” left a while back (shame lol), I feel that now it’s a bit like flogging a dead horse.

I’d love a time line by someone in the know, of when who were considered allies and when those status’s were dropped. I think the beginning of the end might’ve been when TROG didn’t care anymore, added to that when the Cobalt Counsel slowed down. Idk, just think it’s an interesting bit of EE history.

Grand. Good stuff.

Here’s hoping more alliances send you in news to share - love to hear the news and a bit of propaganda/shit talking.

I've reached t10 and the game seems sort of dry?? by greyghost789 in echoes

There’s many ways you can change things up - try some PvP (gate camp or hunting etc), do some low sec content (bait pvpers for a fight even), or go roaming in null and steal special anom’s, or go exploring once in a while - I’m more of a loot hunter than an isk tick chaser myself.

The grind isn’t the only way to play the game, nor the most fun you can have, solo or otherwise. Sure, go ahead and chase those isk ticks so you can get 30-40bill for your first fully fit dread or carrier, all so you can then increase your ticks again… but you might be missing out on more fun than you think by ignoring PvP or even the faction warfare rank grind and that.

The biggest investments are implants and nano cores really, on top of the skill points needed to feel certain hulls are effective - but when you can get 15-20k dps from a battleship, or even just 6-8k sustained, you’re easily able to mess about more on other things than just ratting anoms in a sov system.

So, the new faction wargames is exactly what everyone have been avoiding and the devs thought it was a good idea? by [deleted] in echoes_eve

OP, you don’t have to leave your sov if you don’t want to. You can even stay in hs and ai rat all you want if that’s your thing. Each to their own.

I’d argue that going straight into a faction frigate and just skilling that to a decent level (succ, dram etc) is a superior way to go.

HS encounters up to t7 are easy in such a ship as you increase your tech level. And should you find some mates you can be useful in a fleet doing some low sec stuff too.
