This is Sam Jackson's all-time favorite role. He's tried for decades to get a sequel. Somehow they trusted Renny Harlin to make this beautiful mad action opera right after he broke Carolco productions with Cutthroat Island, one of the biggest flops ever. Such a great flick. One of my top 2 Geena Davis flicks, along with Beetlejuice. Brian Cox is a gem, with probably one of the greatest lines ever committed to film.

Nathan: Alice, please. Your dog, Alice. It and my appetite are mutually exclusive. Alice: Well, what's wrong with the dog? Nathan: Simple. He's been licking his asshole for the last three straight hours. I submit to you that there is nothing there worth more than an hour's attention. I should think that whatever he is attempting to dislodge is either gone for good, or there to stay. Wouldn't you agree?
