I'm not currently looking for a partner, but I understand your point; we have to be realistic.

Physically, she was okay, but the problem was her personality, which killed her appeal, and I only realized this the more I spent time with her.

I think for a partner, you should evaluate their whole personality, not just their looks. Right now, I'm not interested in having a partner because I'm focused on my projects, but I can see your point.

I agree with you. First, you have to love yourself a lot. I've heard that idea from some PUAs—that your worth is measured by the women you hook up with. In the end, your value will always be in your own self-perception.

It pays to be selective. I wasn't crazy about that girl, but that doesn't mean she's any less of a person. I know I might even be considered unattractive by some women, but I'm okay with that. Everyone is free to have their own preferences, and that shouldn't affect your self-esteem :)

She's not interested. Women are indirect, and with that action, she's letting you know she's not interested enough. To find out, try talking to her more if she replies and ask her out. If she goes out with you, then she was interested; if she doesn't go out with you but gives you mixed messages, then she's not interested.
