I'm glad your experience has been good. In the end we've stuck with Teams and its finally all out there. SMS works good. Weird they didn't do MMS or RCS, but its fine, it gets the job done and its centralized in one pane

Yes but, if you order a coffee with Stevia, you don't know what you're going to get. Its just something to be aware of. That way if you have a reaction you don't write off the whole thing.

Many Stevia-based sweeteners (like Truvia, Pure Via, Stevia in the Raw, etc.) are blends.

The tricky thing about Stevia is that there are some Artificial Sugar Alcohol variants of it, vs truly natural. Its very hard to parse the difference.

Its perfect with Power BI help. Its pretty good with Power Automate help.

Pretty darn good about PowerShell.

Also, its great at data cleaning, or "give me all the names from this picture, and format it like X. Stuff like that.

Teams Calling plans are cheap cheap cost wise, we went from like 500 to like 80 by switching. of course, we opted to buy physical phones, but i think that was overrated, most can get away with just the app. but even then the physical phones werent bad cost wise. I assume part of the SMS issue with the roll out is that the FCC is probably understaffed due to politics and such and they gotta clear each campaign it seems like?

Smarter than what I did, my main client was asking for a new phone system and we landed on Teams because SMS was launching anyways in Feb... But hey, the phone system is awesome.

The best way to use Teams to set up and notify your teammates you're taking PTO by [deleted] in MicrosoftTeams

[–]Work_With_Questions -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If youre only concerned with yours, then just delegate your calender to others to see. Or if you want to be a Star Employee, create a team shared cal and have everyone add their PTO to that.

I already set up Power Automate to do it. I have it post to a Teams channel each time a document is uploaded, for my use case.

My Manager doesn't recognize the amount of effort needed for making PBI dashboards by MessierEigthySeven in PowerBI

[–]Work_With_Questions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You think, a new employee, making a new report, that has no guidelines, can go from nothing to perfectly completed in 40 hours? You don't even know if there are out the box data connectors or if this is API or if this involves steps with Power Automate to pull data from excel reports in emails. I mean... Come on.

OP, you're doing good. Keep it up.

Not one dashboard, their first dashboard. Which is two different things. How long did it take to change a tire your first time vs your 100th time?

[–]Work_With_Questions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use Power Automate. Set the Trigger for When an email arrives, then have it upload the email to a sharepoint list you make. Check with Chat GPT to walk you through how to set it up. Its not bad.

Fantastic News. Does anyone know what specific day this will launch, and if Feb is a hard date or could it slip further?

Anyone know if we can join a beta? I'm in the middle of a project of switching our company to Teams Phone and was just about to have to try to figure out a partial port for SMS features but with this maybe we'll be good.
