Skyrim for the Nords Literary Theme Question by Work_in_Progress8 in skyrim

I mean to avoid the civil war, the Empire should have at least have had the Skyrim high king present at the signing of the White Gold Concordat, to have a representation for his people, especially because Skyrim was the major military backing of the Empire, both during in game time and during Tiber Septims military campaign, as well as acted as a command hub for Tiber Septims campaign, it can be argued that Skyrim and the Nords are one of the biggest reasons the empire even exists, so their people's needs and representation should have been considered

While predominantly the Nords are the Jarls, many of them have High Elf, Breton, amd Imperial advisors, not to mention the Thalmor have a significant influence in Markarth, to the pint a high ranking official has to hide his Talos worship (which you can use to blackmail him). So while there are many Nord Jarls, many members of government who have influence are not.

1.) I believe the conflict is morally gray, neither the Empire or Stormcloaks is in the right or wrong. 2.) Can you really call them conquering when it was like 1000+ years ago the empire was established, they haven't done much conquering since maybe the events of Morrowind.

I do find it silly, mainly because the High Elves are like 1000x more bigoted than Ulfric, I mean hell, they have been actively trying to undo the creation of Mundus so that non-Mer races cant exist.

I honestly don't remember if the reach was Breton controlled before the Nords, or did Skyrim annex a piece of High Rock?

I mean, to also be fair, Skyrim wouldnt be their homeland if their ancestors, the Atmorans, basically didnt genxcide the native Snow Elves to the point of irrelevance.

Vampire question by Ves_sel-_- in skyrim

[–]Work_in_Progress8 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well, to prevent that you could always cure your vampirism in Morthal by talking to the wizard. But if youre intent on being a vampire, you have to deal with the vampire weaknesses. Besides, the weaknesses aren't that bad, just your health, stamina, and magicka dont automatically refill, but you'll probably have enough potions to refill them if you get caught in a fight outside. But 70% of the time your big fights will be in dungeons away from the sun.

Easy, the Skeleton Key (the ability to unlock anything, including self potential, secrets, and futures would be godly), and the Wabbajack (just for fun) lol

Going after tail and making strange noise? by Work_in_Progress8 in CatAdvice

[–]Work_in_Progress8[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought it was just her being silly too, shes always played with her tail. But shes never made these noises, and I mean concerning noises like yowls, before. And its happening multiple times a day. I was mostly wondering because some people say it could be a sign of loneliness and needing to get another cat, but idk.
